I have very rarely run into "highway men" on this game, most "bandits" just KOS. I actually respect these highway men that rob others, as they are taking a risk by not killing their victims immediately. Maybe not as much of a risk as heros/medics, but more of a risk than these COD kiddies that just KOS for the hell of it. Also the definitions make it sound much better, nice post.

So many people KOS in this game it's just what people assume you are doing. Trust me some people out there actually appreciate the 1%, the medics and heros. Props to you for trying to help players.

Go to options and video settings and mess around with those. That should help a little bit.

Gotcha, I'll bookmark it and see if I can get my computer fixed by next Thursday. EDIT: What is the event called? There are several events on your website but I don't know which one this is, as all the dates are marked as TBA.

Whoever said that you have to roll solo to bandit? I'm simply saying that being a bandit already has enough perks (gearing up faster, less risk in-game), so if they remove the humanity system, there will be no perks of being a hero (bulletproof vest, faster run speed). How many people will be heros if they get rid of those? And of course the bandit perks will always be there. And yes I read the dev blogs, and I took the poll for Christ's sake. Ok, I'm sending you my info from Wells Fargo Bamk now. I don't have an address because I live inside of a crashed helicopter by the NWAF.

I believe this is what he meant. It's west, not east, and the only worthwhile spawn at the castle is the heli spawn.

I take the same precautions I would with a normal player, they have to freeze and drop their weapon, as there are always the assholes that just bloodbag their friends. But to answer your question, no, but I'm not sure if my vote counts cuz I never shoot players unless I have to.

^^^^ Do this, in DayZ Commander you can change your game version on a dime (in literally 3 seconds) and it is very easy to access.

I keep most of my settings on low, as this is the default and therefore what a majority of the players in DayZ use. If you put your effects on high you are actually at a disadvantage (for things such as grass at distances and stuff like that)

In DayZ Commander, click the box "Show official servers only" or something along those lines. That and most public hives start with two letters and have numbers after them, such as US059 (just made it up), while private hives would usually look like "Xtra Beanz For the Needy" server or something.

Remove the humanity system? There's already enough incentive to bandit, why not just throw some more in there?

Only reason I finished it is because I have no life at all. Was hard, took quite a while because every time I see the word "zombie" I get flashbacks of World War 3. Oh god... not again.

You could make a trampoline. Land on a satchel charge and then detonate it. Have you friend place down another, and repeat.
