There's always small pockets of people who try to help others, but the vast majority of dayz players have a shoot on sight mentality. It's just part of the game we all have to live with.

Just type in side "ANY FRIENDLIES IN ELEKTRO?" If they are true bandits they will be there in less than 20 minutes lol.

In the standalone they are making the zombies AI better, and they did that in the last patch. I can see where you're coming from, but zombies wouldn't smell much over the smell of their rotting flesh anyway, so...

Reinstall DayZCommander? Commander is the best way to download maps imo. You could always just do a quick search and manually install them. Not that hard but commander saves time. :thumbsup:

Was this a global ban, or a private hive ban? If it is a global ban then you want to have battleye repeal your ban. Theres nothing you can do about private hive bans besides having your friend go on and contact the admin. EDIT: I pretty much rephrased the post above me, sorry lol the post didn't show up until I posted my reply.

dude, im not hating on your server or anything, I'm just saying the whole fun in dayz (at least from my perspective) is when you get into life or death situation and you get that adrenaline rush. I'm sure there are people out there that like the aspect of tons of vehicles and no trouble from bandits or stuff like that.

The suppressor or stuff like that would have to take 5 or 10 seconds to put on though, so you can't just pop it on and off. Also, this would expose you while you are putting it on. There also should be a downside to suppressors (increased bullet drop or it can only use specific [rarer] ammo)

I am a hero and as much as I hate that 95% of the DayZ population immediately shoots on sight, I have to admit that without pvp the game is going to get boring really fast.

There has already been a topic with the same exact name posted very recently... anyway 23 hours is a bit exteme lol... maybe half an hour to an hour depending on the rarity of the materials needed. Beans for the suggestion though.

Sometimes your target might be 20 meters away or so, and one footstep might alert them to your postion. And by the time you would have rolled over there, he would have moved.
