I'm friendly but the amount of times I have been killed when asking in direct if people are friendly has started to wear thin on me, I have found quite a few friendly players but usually only brief encounters, I even made friends with a bandit once :lol: I felt bad the other day as I was in the control tower at balota doing some looting at night when I turned around and a dude appeared in the doorway with a hatchet, scared the shit out of me and he didn't even get a word in before I had put 30 rounds of 5.56 into him. Afterwards I wish I hadn't shot him

I feel bad because I just shot the shit out of some dude who came in the control tower wielding an axe, I was in there looting when he appeared in the door way, scared the crap out of me

same same, pm if your keen, ill probably be able to play the next few nights

Just wondering since playing new patch i keep coming across zombies inside buildings, just me or anyone else had this?

yeh i had read about it and not having a shot at the rest of the dayz community but i thought Aus/NZ servers might be ok because i didn't think anybody would actually be bothered to do it but yeh haha happened second day playing just wondering do white listed servers require you to play consistantly, as it is ill be lucky if i get the time to play 2-3 times a week

So my second day on Dayz roaming around up north and the entire server gets teleported the cherno industrial area and instantly surrounded by a hoarde of zombies, I ended up just running out and didn't get bothered by zombies because they were intent on killing everyone that stood and fought. Anyways I came back after about ten minutes and everyone was dead but some of the guys had some serious kit and i ended up being killed by an artillery barrage (yeh some zeds must have got hold of a 105mm haha) anyways i wasn't bothered as i only had basic stuff but it would fustrate me if i had worked hard to get stuff and end up being killed by some retard whos only achievement in life is to sit in a room and work out how to hack games. so my questions is, is there something in place that resets all your gear or is it just unlucky, thats day z? oh yeh and im too new to know but i think its was just a public server in NZ -ok just searched and saw like a million threads on this
