To the small minority that complain about loosing their stuff. Please remember we play this mod to test, not for fun. If you loose your stuff then get out of your safe camps and go and find more items/BUGS. I Wish i had time to test this patch but my work has me so busy :(

The ppl saying arma 2 is shit are the CoD kiddies. They cant handle the realism. Go play Cod in your matchbox maps, i heard it has zombies also. If you think you can have 220km map with graphic candy like CoD, then you need to be shot. I mean what the hell is the fun in playing a mind numbing game like CoD, point gun in general direction, spray bullets and then die, respawn, repeat. What a great game lol. My friends and I play arma2 coop missions modded with ACE, mando missles and others, and can play all day on one mission.

No cus 9/10 times i can find a weapon in the 1st building i walk into.

ye looks like ya cpu 1.4ghz lets you down. Im no expert tho. Im using AMD 3.4ghz hex core. With radeon 6870. I have medium to high settings.

Maybe King Kong got spawned and went on a rampage.

For me personally Arma 2 is and will always be the best game i ever played. Mod it up with ACE, ACEX, ZeusAI, mando missles and all the various units and maps....welcome to heaven. At the moment Dayz is another cool mod for this great game.

The 24 hour timer on viechles outside map won't make that much of a difference, its not hard to log in jump in veichle, then log out again once every 24 hours lol. I think they should make it so, if you drive off the map the viechle instantly blows up. Its your faulf if you fail too see the map boundary.

Running through woods to rescuse my friend who had a broken leg otherside of map. What do i trip over in the middle of the woods??? A bycycle lol.....got to my injured friend so fast....But lost the bike due to the ddos attack hehe

My friend Dan finds a tractor but it has no petrol. He calls me to bring jerry cans and tells me location. I turn up with pertol and drive the tractor to our camp (on map). At our camp we had 2 tents filled with various goodies. I leave the tractor there and head south to the coast. Late that day Dan shouts to me "BUS bus, theres a guy filling up a bus" (think it was vybor).. Dan decides to snipe the guy, and then waited 10 minutes to see if any friends turned up. They didn't. Dan happen to have pertol on him and there was pertol tank close to the bus, so he fills up the bus and drives it back to camp. I start to make my way to camp to fix the little damage the bus had. Once Dan arrived at camp he parked the bus away from the tractor and tents, about 100m. Whilst he is waiting for me he sees our tractor start to drive away "what the hell, Bra1n our tractor is going, what the fuck." He hopes out of the bus zooms in on tractor and sees a guy driving it. "Shoot him Dan its not me, shoot him". Dan takes him out on 2nd shot, then as our camp has been compromised he starts loading up the bus from the tents so we can move camp. At this point i was about 1 click from camp making haste. As Dan is loading up bus he gets SHOT...."noooooooooo, im down, im down, you gota get there and take him out Bra1n" Im running fast through thick woods 500m from camp and BOOOOM im down lol. Sniped by someone that has a very good shot and i mean very good, 1 shot dead. Dan come to my house to drink beer with me and drown our sorrows. The next day i run round get new loot, new tent. I go to set up new camp at new place, then run north and stumble accross our old camp. Funny thing is there is 2 extra tents, and the tractor is still there, but no bus. I gradualy crawl to sniper postion (not making same mistake). See no one is there, so i go to tents and all our stuff is there. Look in tractor and stuff is in there too. I grab shit out of tents load up tractor and drive off to the new camp:) Thank you for reading, hope it makes sense....

Like the other guys said, wait till night, or join night server and go loot ya stuff you need. If you managed to take 2 guys out, you must have some skill :) so stealth loot and night is your best chance.

I would grab my beans and cola and head to the woods, we all know infected don't go there :)
