Hmm... i've only been playing DayZ for a couple of week now so I've seen before and after the patch. As a DayZ noob i'm now being rewarded for my chicken shit peekaboo play style, so I'm quite happy with it... Mind you. I'm not sure what the fuss is about around 1.7.5.1 as I've not noticed the zombies behaving unnaturally. I think that it's easier now from a detection point of view as the distance and noise levels at which the Zs react is more realistic and predictable... If folks are just playing how they did in 1.7.4 then I would assume the new learning curve will start to settle in soon... only thing i'm not sure about is the numbers of respawning Z's, this could probably use some tweaking

Cheers for the replies fellas. It sounds like a problem with set point software then. I'll see if I can find different win 8 compatible software but I'm not holding out hope as win8 is fairly new Although, Boneboys, can u remember if the latest set point worked with other games, mine does. Maybe I should be logging this as a bug in Arma?

Not sure if i explained the problem properly or if you're solution will actually work The issue i'm having is that using logitech setpoint software I can change all the buttons on my G500 to perform different funtions to the norm. For example, I can rebind the 'increase dpi' button to do press key 'g' to open my inventory.... this is key binding facility is broken... are we on the same page?

Hi All I've been trying to get logitech setpoint to set bindings when I launch DayZ (armaoa.exe) but it won't launch with the buttons set and only has them as default bindings. It works with BF3, crysis 2/3, etc. I've read that it may be a permissions thing? I've installed Arma 2 (via steam) to my d: drive (d:\Games\steam...\common\arma, etc... FYI. I'm running the latest logitech setpoint software and win8 64bit. Any ideas what to do to troubleshoot/get this fixed? Cheers Cow

How do you get access to a whitelisted server? I'm new round these parts lol! Is it a forum thing?

New user here too. Same problem when I login to some servers. I have a feeling it may be because try have non-standard options enabled. It could be that the non std servers require you to save a separate profile on their servers so they can run their own mods and don't affect your 'main' dayz profile. I appear to have about 3 different profiles on different servers Can anyone confirm this?
