Hi. Is it just me, or does it look like they tweaked the night lighting a bit? I mean, I'm almost always on night servers due to the time of day I tend to play, but when I entered a server after the patch went live, my owl eyes were working way better than they have before in SA, like way better. Maybe it was just a brighter than usual night, but after 70 hours of almost all night playing, I was kind of shocked by it lol. Regards.

Hi. I understand your point, and agree somewhat, but if one persons lag is bad enough to spoil everyone elses experience, I say discriminate to your hearts content. I have no idea at what ping the lag starts to ruin the game, but I generally only join servers under 100, with the server I consider my characters home in the 20's. Regards.

Hi. You didn't actually say what it is you like about the game, so I'm going to assume it's the way the engine handles combat. You would probably be better off playing vanilla ArmA 2 or 3, as they have the features that make pvp good here. That aside, you could also put the game down for awhile, because I'm pretty sure once SA becomes moddable, there will be plenty of PVP based servers spawning you in with a full kit. But don't expect the base game to turn into an intsa-frag-fest deathmatch thing. There's already way too many of those on the market. Regards.

Got away from him, but then the server crashed(I think), about 10 seconds later :lol: I'm just going to go back to stable so I can play :blush: Regards.

Hi. Yay, more lads complaining about the rv engine. No other games successfully do what RV does. Is it perfect? of course not, but its in its own league. I would rather play a 13 year old game called operation flashpoint, than any of these modern run and gun shooter games that were designed for children. Hi OP. I feel for ya, I'm no fan of steam. I've had my share of issues with it in the past as well(all from bullshit they've done, not I). Now I basically only use it because ArmA 3 and DayZ forced me into it :lol: Don't let the trolltypes get to you lol. Nowadays, it seems like just about anywhere you post something negative about steam you will get a bunch of butthurt people acting like fanboys for some reason. :huh: Good luck getting steam sorted.

Hi. It would be easy to make them into a serious threat, but judging by the amount of times they had to nerf them in the mod, the community would probably moan and groan until they nerf them here too. Increase the numbers, make them more aware, let them sprint as fast or even faster than players and they would be much more annoying and a bit more of a threat. Then make it so only head shots will kill them. Of course then the tears would start to flow in the forums. I don't care what anyone says, a swarm of dozens of zeds charging at you faster then you can run, that don't die from body shots would change everything. Regards.

Hi. Yes, I know tanks would break the game. That is my whole point. I feel helo's break the game as well. A group of skilled players can fairly easily dominate a server with a helo. Even an unarmed little bird gives squads a substantial advantage. But if the mod was anything to go by, we will have armed blackhawks and gunships. Regards.

Yep, that's a carryover from ArmA rookie settings. Obviously, the only thing that should show your position is a GPS, but even then seeing zeds and other players would be total garbage. Some people just shouldn't have servers lol. Regards.
