I got an infection from 2 out of 3 bloodpacks

So now I got three Lee Enfields but only 3 magazines with 1/4/8 bullets. Now the Zeds are tougher .... way tougher to kite or lose by running threw bushes and pines. ANd I got no melee weapon unless I drop my gun. No ammo, no melee, tougher Zeds.... What's up with that?

I had just started DayZ after watching a couple of frankie videos. I started near elektro and went to the firestation to get some gear but I couldn't find anything decent. So I head for the farm house close by and find a lee enfield. just as I leave the barn I see a bandit running in front of me through the woods. I shoot right away and hit him but he manages to take cover behind a tree. I sprint towards using a tree to block his LoS. as I reach the tree I lean sideways and see him sitting next to a tree no more than 30 m away, looking straight at me, I manage to shoot him in the face before he gets a single shot off...got an AK74 off him...which I lost breaking my leg in the middle of nowhere 20 min later :)

Well non combat the classic barn stair shortcut without having any morphin injectors The other day one of my friends finds an M14 and a truckload of ammo for it. The next town we had into he decides to take out some zeds for practise...attracting half the zeds in the city. he gets an unlucky hit and brakes his leg and continues to shoot the surrounding zeds in panic...the whole city feasted on him. so i pick up his weapon afterwards and head towards the shore to meet with him. looting a town on the way I attract some zeds...start shooting them with said M14...get an unlucky hit, unconcious..dead. ever since then we call it the cursed weapon and leave it where we find it

Just curious since there seem to be some rather creative hacks. THe other day I was in elektro to get some gear. I was looting a dead bandit on the roof of the firestation when I noticed at least 50 zombies running to a building nearby. my fps dropped like crazy. a minute later I saw the swarm heading towards the firestation. then i noticed that my visibility and sound lvl where at max although I was flat on the ground not moving. a few seconds later I died when the zombie masses got to me. aside from that i joined a server where I could teleport(which I figured out by accident when clicking on my map. and i died to a teleeporter/ wallhacker

Had the same problem. Go to steamapps/common/arma2 operation arrowhead. there is a folder called Battleeye (or something like thaat)with a setup.exe that you have to run.
