First Find your player ID number in your game profile. Then goto the server arma2 root directory. Find file called ban.txt in the root directory. Open up with text editor and find your player ID from the list and remove it. Save file. You can now play again. If you find yourself in the list again after rejoining your server. A fresh install of arma 2 and dayz is the only way to fix it as you might have a corrupt file. Hope this helps.

Plz for the love of DayZ. Fix Vehicle spawns. :( After a hacker blow up all the vehicles on the server since this Patch, for over a week now only Bikes and boats have spawned on our server. Oh and crashed choppers, Hackers got baned of cause. No other vehicles are spawning and i'm not the only admin that is saying this. My server players have dropped from a full server to a empty server in the last week because of this. All but the regulars players which are also slowly getting bored. Standalone is 2 months or so from release and DayZ community is dropping fast. At least fix the vehicle spawn if nothing else, so we may be able to keep the public dayz server open and active till standalone.

Seems you join the server as a SeaGull and where kicked, So why complain. Just rejoin the server.

Your ban has been removed. You will need to wait for the server to be rebooted before the ban comes off. DayZ Anti Hacks will ban players that end up in the remoteexec, but i don't wright the script and may need looking into. You where banned for. #38 "[this] spawn BIS_Effects_AirDestruction" #40 "[this] spawn BIS_Effects_AirDestruction" I have given you the benifit of the doubt, some of these can be legit ban's Green Giant clearly was the hacker and was booted by me for suspected hacking, But will now be banned.

I'm going to agree and disagree with your post Coka. 1, Is because at the moment 3 big ammo box's per day are being spawned on our server. All of the players spawning them are being banned and added to the CBL, But that said untill i have spotted it in the logs, the boxes are on our server untill i can reboot it and anyone can be useing them. so do i ban everyone.. No. So only fair if my guys keep these weapons taken from a dead player they killed and use them. I don't agree with it and will flame any of my members if they take anything from these big ammo box's 2, I don't agree with my guys killing freshies, that could be out of bordem, i can't tell. But i think only a few do this, maybe revenge i couldn't say. 3, I think your only posting this because again my guys killed your guys and noodle Alt F4ed and was added to our hall of shame for Alt F4ing while under fire.

I don't think you quite understand how the CBL works. Just because a admin posts a ban list to the CBL with proof, does not mean it will be added to the list, But if many admin's have that same player banned for x reason, then they would most likely be added to the list. This is my understanding of how it works. So what your saying is possible but highly unlikely. But as always mistakes can be made.

To admin's posting ban's to the CBL (Community Ban List), plz do not post bans to be added to the list unless you send proof with the GUID's you wish to ban. No GUID's that are sent to the list will get added unless proof is provided with the GUID you wish to ban.

As far as i'm aware. the AS50 is indeed a illegal weapon, but its not illegal to use them if you get them from another player, and from my understanding, they were brought into our server 2 or 3 days ago by a group who got killed by my members. So since its not illegal to use them, my boys started to use them as you can't get done for this as they didn't hack them in. I have advised my guys now to drop there AS50's on the floor and any others they fine on the server, But since players are bringing them into our server, There is nothing i can do as they are not being hack in on my server.

Thanks for your post. I don't play the game at the moment, so can't comment on your post above all but to say 3 hackers where banned from the server yesturday. Plus i'm monitoring the server daily to keep hackers away, But they can still get in from time to time.

This is someone putting down a wire fence. not a hack. These's are not hack's is simply someone useing a nade launcher.

Ok. we found the problem after searching though google for many hours. It seems a New Ban.txt is being created in the OA main root dir. Removing this Ban file unban's those getting the "You were banned" message.

For those who Alt F4 on my server, we have a Hall of Shame that is displayed in a in game message. All players caught Alt F4ing are added to the list for a period of time. So when they join they can see there name on there. For Alt F4 + Hopping this is a diffrent matter, These players, i will put them on a Ban with evidence and a temp ban for a day or so with no evidence. The hall of shame on our server seems to stop alot of it, but it does still happen.

First can I say if you get a "You were banned". Plz contact BattlEye first. Second is this a bug, As a few players on our server have been banned for this. 2 managed to get back in the server after the last round of DayZ patches, but another one has now been banned that I know of, with the same message. I'm asking if it is a bug because. The player in question has contacted battleye, who has informed the player he is not banned and it must be a server ban, As I am the server admin and owner, I have gone though the server ban logs and his GUID, IP or Player ID are not in there, yet he continues to get the "You were banned" message. The player in question plus the server have redownloaded the dayz file and he has even reinstalled arma and dayz, still the same message. He has also joined a dev's server and had no problems to see if a file was corupted by the request of the dev, but still can't join my server, So could this be a ban bug or somthing else. The only thing the server logs show is that he joins, GUID passes then he disconects. The servers currently running, 1725, latest hive, beta 95883, BE1.62

I can confirm a hacker has been banned today for spawning in a chopper. Glanza was the one who reported it. So i think your mistaken Coka 6 or more hackers have been caught today, including the hacked chopper. hence why our server has been going down alot today.

Rudson. As beany has stated, he is getting kicked from other server, But he is banned from his home server, this is what we are trying to find out why. As he is in none of the ban logs.

In Beanys Defence. Our server was updated to the latest version 2 days ago, and beany was playing in our server most of yesturday, He as been in the server this morning again with no problems, Then he left for a while rejoined, and recon says Beany was disconnected, This is also comfirmed in the BEC log. Yet he said his message was You are Banned. This is not a server ban, nor does it say its a global ban. Plus this is the 3rd time that it has happend. with the same message as beanys. None of them are on the ban lists.

As our squad don't and never have cheated nor hacked anyone on any game. This could of been posted on our site or even in another thread, which you may have gotten a diffrent reply from me. As for you question, Your Quote above accused me of admin abuse, yet that is one thing i have nerver done, we new who stole the truck in the Quote you highlighted, due to the fact names are showing on our server and he died shortly after taking it. Plus due to the latest release 1.7.2.5 there is no way of monitoring anything in the log as we no longer have to, BE catches most of the cheat coming in to our server and Reporter catches the rest. We don't all go around killing players, well at least i don't but since you can't even sign up to the forums with your in game name, you have me at a dis-advantage. So give me your ingame name on our server. Next time i'm on and see you, we will see who is still standing. :)

Have to say your post has made me chuckle. Not only digging up a post made over a month ago, but the fact you posted it here accuses us. All vehicals respawned on our server 3 days ago. We have noticed the truck at its spawn point 2 days ago but we left it as it needed 6 wheels and Engine, Hull and Fuel Tank fixing. My guys also found the Truck this afternoon and where out getting parts for it. When they must of caught you guys there at the time, and you got out classed and owned. Now to come on the forums and rant about it is a joke. By all means keep looking for our camp we no longer have one, but there are many camps around the server as tents aren't being deleted. Maybe get some proof next time, before you make a fool out of yourself.
