  1. oh god do I hate the AK-47, and for that matter, the whole god damn Kalashnikov family of fire arms. There is absolutely nothing sexy about the design. No redeeming grace whatsoever. These screenshots would have been so much better if you had placed the righteous Lee Enfield "Point Three 'oh Three" instead. Just my two cents... <_< P.S. and behold... is that part of a Lee Reloading Kit I see at icon 8 of the inventory? It better be.

On one hand it will be great, but on the other hand, players will have to wait forever to get in to a server kindof like a luzer waiting in line to get into a popular nite club. Either that or suffer through playing on dreary, dead and boring servers. Why can we not have something like EvE's MMO? You have hundreds of thousands of people logged on simultaneously, with everyone having the ability to communicate and interact with everyone else. I demand we have something like this!!!

Ho will this work if there are multiple servers? Chances are this will render popular servers extremely difficult if not impossible to log into, whereas less travelled servers dead, boring and unpopulated. Players will only want to venture to the servers where this kind of tech is being used...

and what radio station would this be? All the DJs would have been eaten up. yum. It would seem more logical to have the radio play an old tape that repeats itself... or a gramophone in some old persons's house. This way you wouldn't have to worry about rationalizing music that seems to be in an infinite loop. The radio could also be functional. You could use the radio to lure players in for an ambush... raise your hand if you'd be inclined to track faint music. It could also be used as a decoy for the zeds and speaking of decoys, how about giving us some air horns that we could rig up into a throwable decoy?
  6. i am boycotting this until DayZ standalone is published. Who's with me? >:(
  7. dang.. yaw'll like crack whores...
  8. I think it's growing a second tail, is what...
  9. Well that does it. I demand an ecosystem! ...with crickets!
  10. I am a fan of the GRID racing series. There. I admit it. Ever since Grid was released in 2008 I was hooked, and since 2008 I was anxiously awaiting their promised release of Grid 2. They are releasing it in Summer 2013. Why the eff haven't they released a weekly dev blog and live alpha testing streams like allllll the other game developers have always done since the begining of time????? It's been five god damn years!! ..very unprofessional. I trust that you whinny peons get what I am trying to say here. <_<
  11. Just so I am clear... is this a fact or an opinion? B)
  12. any news on hunting dogs that can be used to track humans by sniffing them down given a piece of their belongings? This would be quite beneficial to bounty hunters
  13. I say!! Leave my Lee Enfield alone! What has she ever done to you other than remain trully beautiful? I fell in love with this weapon the first time I held her in my arms, and can still remember the scent of her gun oil. I was 14 and remember it leaving a weird brown stain on my shirt... I forgave her. The Lee enfield .303 is a genuine work or art, and remains a workhorse of rural communities world wide. Plus, she will nail a fly on a penny at 400 yards on a bad day without a scope. How can something so sexy be so deadly? One of the creator's untold mysteries, I say! I know of Mosin Nagant, and yes, he does deserve a place amongst fine weaponry, but there will never be a substitute for the 'Point three o' three Lee!'
  14. Scrabble is for pussies. I'm playing Ludo with my cat!
  15. You mentioned nothing about the polaroid camera... I am offended. >:(
  16. Maps should also be personalized so that individuals could mark and scribble important notes such as where they hid their loot. This provides us with excellent justification to merc a mofo and unburden them from their map and things. Other delectable items could be a polaroid black and white camera and small camcorder to take more visual notes of interesting places/events for sake of posterity.
  17. Nothing like a wrecked ship and a few places to loot to boost the economy of a zombie infested town. I second Kamenka as a choice spot!
  18. You'd need to find a quiet, sturdy place away from zeds like a base to set up the kit and start grinding out custom rounds in small batches. You'd also need to find or collect spent casings from abandoned crates, a mould and lead, primers, gunpowder (which could be used to make explosives/boobytraps as well) and most importantly, a handloading manual with the info needed for various rounds you intend to produce, so you know what you are doing and don't kill yourself in the process, or destroy your weapon. Custom rounds could be super-charged for more damage with a higher chance of misfire, jams, maiming and weapon destruction, or lower charged for less range/impact, but kinder on the weapon. The more experience one has in doing this, the better the odds and the more rounds you could make. Now how you like them apples, yea?
  19. This is all subjective. I am still waiting for confirmation of the ability to craft ammunition via a handloading kit of some kind http://cheaperthandi...ng-starter-kit. What's the point of having a shipwreck if you can't craft your own ammo in small quantities? Pointless, if you ask me. These two features go together like peas in a pod or white on rice, as the saying goes.

If these statistics are correct, then I am forced to reiterate. It is highly inconsiderate of Dean to go trecking on Mt. Everest when he has this game to finish! It's not fair for the DayZ community, and it is especially not fair for people of Cherneruse, inflicted by a zombie apocalypse. His priorities are all wrong, so I am sorry if I have to put my foot down and say that I won't stand for it! I say we assemble a team to go drag his ass back to Europe and tie him to his god damn chair.

Ima be a hygene police and gun down anyone i see taking a poop or a wiz in public. It spreads germs and is just not socially acceptable behaviour... even during a zombie apocalypse. Let's all do the right thing and keep Cherneruse smelling fresh!
