That's only 2.4k HP though you'd need 20 steaks to go from *dead* to full HP. Example-killing a bandit who shot you, but you were able to shoot him dead before passing in and out, leaving you at 1.7K HP (random number) getting 2.4k HP isn't going to help much. It's really just a quality of life improvement that doesn't go against realism, but also won't unbalance the game much. (I say much, do to the fact you never really know how something will turn out until it's been done)

I'm a new player (Bambi) but have a good grasp on the controls, i'm very sucky at avoiding zombie aggro and seeing longer then 300m however i'm a good shot if its closer then 100m (or at least i think i am xD) I can fly a chopper preaty decently, currently i have an Alice pack, a crossbow with 4 bolts, M1911 with 11 mags, 3 pain pills, 1 morphine, food and drink, with matches, ax, watch, and knife. I'm great at being a persons sidekick and don't mind being the pack mule (as long as i get goodies too!) i'm currently In need of a transfusion due to a misplaced x-bow shot on my 1st few min's lol. If there are fewer then 5 zeds i can normally kill them all and not loose ammo, so long as the bolt doesn't glitch. Its a Vet server, 3rd person on, no cross-hairs, on the *normal* map. If you wanna be my buddy lemme know! Oh and I NEVER shoot zombie's outdoors...it leads to death...unless you tell me to shoot something then i'll hope you know what your doing and then shoot. *I think i can use my mic in-game however i'm not sure it works, the last 2 servers were a hackfest and a KOS-fest. At least i know for sure i can hear you! In game name is Thorsblood (people have told me my name make's them think i'm a bandit...Thorsblood just means thors-son lol, i'm a medic when i can be, and a great driver when i'm given the chance to be, and i NEVER shoot on sight, not even at bandits....i'm a Bambi after all, bandits scare me xD)

I know it's dumb, but every time i'm at my camp near a fire pit I really wanna break out dancing xD If that ever gets put in me and some friends are gonna have a blast xD Also how awesome would it be to see people dancing unknowing your watching them rofl.

I like ghillie suite's....this make's them easier to get (in theory) I'm game :D (I like be the Hero bush tyvm lol)

It's basically to punish solo players but not an over the top punisment, and to stop punishing groups lol. * referring to Medkits with chance at infection and bloodpacks no longer having chance of infection*

I found it impossible to find people who don't kill me on sight...i'v tried many many time's almost always ending in my death (i'v also been unarmed all these times) THE ONE TIME i was armed i saw some guy with an ax being chased by a ton of zeds, i called out friendly? He said yes! So i tossed a smoke and we went and hid in a house nearby, he says thanks bla bla i ask if he want's to team, he says SURE! I was empty on drinks and there were 2 Pepsi's here, i grab one and before i can offer the other i'm being ax'd to death >_>. In the end I gave up on human kind and joined a PvE server...at least there people are honest xD I'd have no issue with a PvP sever if it wasn't for PvP severs being ---> Call of Duty: Eat shiz and shoot people Edition +Sniping in a PvE sever can be much harder (Your sniper over-watch meaning you shoot the zeds chasing your friends far enough away that YOU don't aggro zeds and so THEY don't have to shoot xD Its a pain but effective!) *I haven't done this since the update so it might not work any more since zeds have superhuman hearing >_>

I like the night concept but can't really experience it due to my available hours, I either get only night or only day x_X If they could make 4 Hour day/night cycle's that would be better for people with job's or other time constraints and enable them to enjoy both night and day. Plus it would make RP a bit better too since day time is easier to loot but nighttime could be safer due to zeds being less responsive :D I understand trying to make the game as realistic possible but you have to remember people can't play 24 hours a day either!

I haven't done to much testing, however on packs that have a 0 weapon slot you cannot place weapon's in them even if you have room (which we know already), we also know by now that placing a weapon when you pack is full even though you have no weapons in your pack results in loosing the weapon (either drops or poofs) Now after a little reading I realized tools counted towards weapon slots in tents and cars. So I now believe that these *weapon slots* are actually another set of restrictions to your slots. *how many guns OR spare tools you take with you*. Example a Czech Backpack has 24 slots and *4* weapon slots. Lets say you fill your pack with an extra 3 toolbox's for w/e reason and you found 2 G17 some how, you'd only be able to take the 3 toolbox's and 1 gun since there is a 4 limit, or both guns and 2 toolbox's. any way that's my theory, if there is an official post on this i haven't found it...or i'm blind. if some one wants to test my theory for me that would be great, at the moment only 2 hours in on a newer server so i don't have stuff to test with :o

So I guess my theory is fact then, since you just said a better version of what i was saying and i'v tested it some today as-well and it seems true enough.

BM and mouse is easier for 90% of the stuff however i find choppers easier with a controller so i use both.

Ok I'v been looking around the net and apparently you can "save" your vehicle? Is this something that was removed? or should i be worried my V3S is going to be gone when i log in tomorrow? also i'v never seen a command for this so i'm assuming its something that no longer apley's however its better to be safe then sorry xD

Patch has its ups and downs... i'm cool with zombie's being harder, but when they come from the walls and see me 100m+ away thats a bit much. Or 1 makarov shot nets me 30 freaking zeds x_x. I do enjoy the having to boil water and different meats, even like the backpack space change tbh.(though i wish there was at least a 20 slot available in the civilian areas) Also my biggest bitch is loosing my tent when i logged in...that hurt was very painful, and finnaly i was lagging more then normal which caused a death. All in all great additions, but please for the love of god squish them bugs PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3

i just snagged some great loot, i don't kill people, and this guy starts shooting at me, i zig zagged at least for 2000k before i felt i lost him and hid in a bush then logged. (and to be clear i didn't log because i was avoiding death but because my PC keeps my little brother up so i can't play it past 10 on school nights xD), were as just alt4 is cheating >> only way you can get away with the alt4 "tactic" is because your on a PvE only server and its against the rule's to kill people... only thing worse then an Alt4 is a person who shoots back and loose's, and because he lost he alt4's denying loot to people...

My XBLA is THORSBLOOD, and btw if you have a wired-conrtoller plug it into the USB port on your PC, then you xbox mic into the controller, tweak some settings, BAM working PC mic :D (though i haven't been able to test it...no allowed to chat in side chat...and every one KOS's so i can't chat with people xD I could use buddy to help me, i'm up for killing zeds for the sake of killing zeds, being a hero, killing bandits, doing *Stuff*, however as of late cars scare me :D (just lost a MK Saw/FAL/PDW/AKM Backpack (coyote) tons of supply and ammo due to a rock spawning in the road and sucking half my car underground doing 9-11k damage and bleeding me out with a 5 min K.O timer >_<, wasn't my day) And now 2 hours into my next life Guile sute (my 1st one yay) MT FREAKING DEW, M1911, Shoty(don't remeber name) a tent and BACON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! love bacon <3 sorry for long post, nobody to tell my stories too x_x Any one who plays with my gets 1st dibs (unless its the m24 been DYING to try that gun :D) Edit: just checked i don;t have bacon Q_Q lots of mutton xD

I'm still new to the game as well only been playing for 5 days, so far been killed twice, but i just shrug it off, being friendly might suck sometimes but it also has the best rewards! I just got a new friend and he has a van, even found a car for me, just need to fixer up and find were i died (glitched through a wall in the electro fire station ><) and i'll be golden! It really does make the game that much better when you have other people to play with...if you want you should check out the Fogeyz server, i'v only seen/heard of 3 bandits so far.

Now I know this will sound stupid, but i'm tired and don't care lol. Now that you'v found other survivors, made a camp, have all the best gear, killed your fairshare of zombie's and even a few bandits, why not play a game of black jack or poker? make it so its activates like med. stuff does now, except the other player has to except. I can think of a few ways this could be fun even though its a small thing. Example 1: your bored, your friends are bored, and you only have 1 (insert awesome weapon here!) You play best of 3 blackjack winner takes the gun! Example 2: Your a bandit, and you found a poor helpless Bambi, you tell them play me in poker, win you live, loose you loose your life BWAHAHAH. Example 3: your both going to die due to VERY low blood and are equally skilled, break the deck out and winner gets the blood pack! Could add other similar things but have them require a Base, or be in a certain area,(Bar in cherno for example) Most likely a pool-table. (Yes I know wrong pool lol) Imagine you add a slot machine you filled with your own prizes, requires x item you set to spin. Example requires 1 can o' beans to spin, you win a makarov mag (AWWW), next spin nets you an AK (WOOT) (also I'm only half serious about the slot machine i know its not realistic, but my lil bro was playing borederlands and it made me lol) Hate it, love it. don't care? Either way COME PLAY ON THE Fogeyz SERVER I NEED A FRIEND QQ

If your using DayZ commander you can look at recent servers you'v played on, make sure to star one's you like since that fav's them making it even easier

Arma 2, Arma 2:CO, and the mod...to download the mod its www.dayzcommander.com I got Arma 2: CO+Arma 2 as a bundle from steam for 25$ and the mod is free and super easy if you have issue's check out the Troubleshooting thread I'm new too, only been playing for 3 days its hard lol! If your in the US try the Fogeyz server, thats were i'm playing so far so good.

No player kills but i'v killed 20 zombies so far while only have 1 bolt lol...PEW sneak to body take bolt...PEW...repeats xD It's to fun...i have 6 mags for my m1911 yet still only use my x-bow with 1 bolt...been lucky on the server i joined i haven't died yet! (been playing only 2 hours...and i'm new to the game so its impressive to me xD) also whats funny is its a Vet server with Cross-hairs off...its not that hard to aim up close at least...just aim at the nuts! rofl.

try dayz wiki it has a list of all guns and what there ranges and sound levels are, sounds like the M4A3 CCO is a good gun for you. Note that guns with greater range come with high recoil or high sound (or even both!) the M4A3 is 300m with a low recoil and moderate sound, however if 500m+ is a must the the FN FAL is a good choice due to its high damage and 500m range (but high recoil and high sound), with the M16A2 being in the middle with 400m, moderate recoil and sound.
