Combat loging was big problem in DayZ mod and it was never fixed ( it was fixed in DayZero mod, with log out timer and player dummy, like in mmorpg but in DayZ, never), so don't expect combat loging being fixed any time soon. -

In my opinion, game should focus on gameplay. And to have good gameplay you have to mix the things from "arcade" and "realistic". -
There are can openers. You can also open cans with: axe, screwdriver, bayonet, knife...

Actually there need to be added more survival. Now it is 99% pvp 1% survival. Survival is there just for marketing purpose, hope it will change. Character getting thirsty/hungry faster then in mod is step in good direction.

Didyn't had to read further to know result of the test, as I know that Mosin accuracy is fine up to 500 meters ;) And I think that balance m4 and bolt-action mosin just fine.

Noobs that complain about KoS will complain that immortal guys camp them with axes and as soon as protecion is off they get headshot. Problem increased. Just a 5GB anti hack system please. -

heheh But yeah I am friendly and was legit hero skin in mod, so I think it's time to dress up like suggested above in blue jeans and checked shirt, becouse for sure I would not KoS a guy who took effort to dress in such way. Military gear or some random freshspawn survivor - KoS ofcourse, but guy who took effort in dressing like a mod hero? This one can be actually friendly.

That reminded me how flawed was humanity system in the mod. There were many "survivors skin" wanna be bandits, becouse they could not kill enought heroes/survivors to get their bandit skin becouse during their KoS run they sometimes killed bandits so they were permanently stuck in surivor skin. And on other hand, there were many "hero" bandits, who got their hero skin by KoSing bandits on NWAF, and with their boosted humanity they continued to KoS regardles other players having hero, survivor skin. I hope that humanity system in standalone will be kills based and not points based. For exemple as a survivor: 2 bandit kills - hero skin 2 survivor kills - bandit skin 1 hero kill - bandit skin As bandit: To get back your survor skin you will have to wait some in game hours (8 hours for exemple) without killing anyone. Killing KoSing bandits while having bandit skin will not make you survivor or hero. As hero: If you kill 2 surivors you will become survivor, kill 2 more survivors as survivor and you get bandit skin

For me bandit/hero/survivor skin worked pretty good in mod, for limiting KoS.

This may be crazy enought to work, untill humanity system skins comes.

And this is why I was saying in threads about m4 accuracy (that is to about 100 meters) that it is a good thing for gameplay. If not 'limited' accuracy all action on that distance would end after 2-3 shots.
