But m4 is like mosin, magnum and hatchet combined into 1 item. PS. It will get even better when bayonets start to work.

Hold right mouse button for elf vision.

Near all big cities or strategically important places. For exemple at Balota airfield tents, near south-east wall at NWAF (inside side) etc.

in mass graves.

What will make me trust another player? Solo players v. Solo player
frosti replied to Gimpylung's topic in General Discussion
Non-exploitable humanity system with bandit/survivor/hero skins. -
There is a lot of mass graves around. I'm guessing that all dead bodies were put in those mass graves by surviving civilians and army.

By now I think that almost everyone know about duplication exploit and about 90% of DayZ players is doing it. Most of us have seen duplication charaters parked near spawn zones. Scale of character duplication exploit is huge. So huge that there is need for global character wipe in my opinion when the duplication exploit gets fixed.

It does? Brb reinstaling xp.

How I have stayed alive for 6 weeks on a single character

Funny thing is that surviving is the easiest thing to do. Hunting down players is the hard part. -

Tried to duplicate myself on experimental servers and I failed, so that's a good sign. Going on stable servers now to get me m4 and some ammo *wink*wink* becouse on new patch server hopping will be real pain.

The only way he removed grass that I know is by removing .pbo file but you should be kicked for that by Battleye. And second method on removing grass is using some kind of 'fps booster* program, but when battleye will catch you on that you gonna get banned.

Experimental has less bugs than Stable. Why wait?
frosti replied to Sloddor's topic in General Discussion
It may look like less bugs becouse fall damage is turned off, so numbers of people killed by ladders, stairs, roofs and houses overal have dropped significaly. -
Well then, how they say: "Can't win with them? Join them!"
-
They will once tents made it into game, if you catch my drifft.

There is anything to do when you lose a character due to a ducking bug?

I think that somethign so simple as score board with survived hours per life would be enought to make surviving interesting for now. Maybe server bound.

The current implementation of the logout timer is trollish.

Didyn't had occasion to look at people throught the scope that were away more then 400 meters. -
Yeah it was discussed many times that there need to be more survival.

But it would be fun to look for people's avatars hidden in forests etc. Those areas are so empty couse when people play they stick to airfields and Elektro only. Maybe when tents get implented or survival score board then exploring all map will be more fun. -
My bionic zooming eyes are better then PU scope anyway.

Yes and no. It is easy to spot players but only if you are looking for them. For exemple when you are camping airfield or Elektro and expect to see people there eventually. But if you freerunning thorught forest or just scout some random small town for 1 minute then you may not notice another player even if he is 10 meters away from you. He don't even have to be prone or hiding. If he is not directly in from of you then you may never even notice another player if you are not expecting him. -

I see new anti comba tlog systembeing huge problem for Elektro junkies and airfield campers. I logged out away from hot spots many times now on experimental servers and haven't been killed even once. -

If you managed to follow him for 5 minutes (that would be throught about 2 kilometers) and he didyn't noticed you then you deserve your kill. Specially if this was like for exemple from airfield, one of the most hot zones on the entire 225km^2 map, one of not many places that you can expect to have tail when you leave it.
