I don't wanna be that guy to say that but in DayZ mod there was lots of hacks and people ran with them unchecked with lead them to the tents.. Also in SA there is many types of tents, big tents, small tents and even barrels so I would not be so pessimistic. If someone finds my tent kudos to him. Let's keep in minds that at least for me finding and hiding tents was lots of fun until it became irrevelant because of 'donator' gear load outs and added barracks/firestation in every town.. Some servers even had invisible/unaccessable donator tents which ruined the whole fun for me.

Well I got no problem with hiding my tents on 75/75 private server in the mod..never got robbed. However there was a lot of players that thought that hiding their camp on the edge of the map was a good idea, but in reality edge of the map was the very first place everyone would check and those guys got raided..

Thinking about it I find this picture you posted very realistic. Look at this sad guy that seems to be thinking "stupid Lada, it gets broken all the time, I should've get a normal car instead". Just like in real life!

Well then you must be like player magnet talizman or something. Or maybe better spotter than me, who knows, maybe I am actually passing by other players and didnt even notice them and they are not noticing me and I don't even know.

That's why there was AS50 (anti material sniper rifle) to keep "population" of helicopters in check. I never kinda could get it why it was removed from game, it was only thing that kept this overpowered helicopters in check. I am staying away from hot spots while playing on 50/50 pop servers and I didn't saw single other player in like forever. You must be in the forests around hot spots to bump into other players really.

Ahh the vanilla map, so green, so climatic. I miss it. Bumping into buildings and roads everywhere you go just does not feel as good as it was in vanilla, when you went North, you went into wilderness. Real wilderness.

In the begging the NORTH was all big forest, sadly it got heavy urbanised patch by patch. There were even threads "save forests" etc "save pobeba dam"

I planted zuccini seeds, one of them looked odd, but description was 'fresh zuccini' (pristine), so I ate it. Poisoned. Sick. GG I thought. luckly I managed to cure myself after like 1 hour ingame by consuming a lot of water. Without charcoals.

Poop smears are actually realistic. Teenager when not supervised by adults will smear poop on buildings. Saw it myself in bus station, train station, hospitals, student houses, schools etc etc -
But imagine the world where players do not have unlimited stamine but zombies does have unlimited stamina. And can tackle players.

Well I think DayZ is playground big enought for everyone. Let's limit spawn points to coast only and let people have their revenge kill party in Elektro/Novo/Berezino, and by not allowing west/north spawn points other people can enjoy not having to worry about revenge kills.

Sadly, I think the character wipe is needed... For example, right now, my character bugged somehow and never gets hungry or thirsty or cold or overheat. So yeah I no need to drink, eat and can sprint full clothed and in gas mask as much as I want. Relogging isn't fixing that too. However if someone/something would have killed me it would have been "fixed", I think, but as for now I am avoiding all hot spots and enjoying the exploring.

I played on DayZ mod server with such spawn system and it resulted in DayZ looking like another Call of Duty clone. So I am aganist players being able to choose their spawn locations in any form. Increased respawn timer on other hand sound very good.
