Gotta wait few days. Sometimes people #YOLO dowload hacks from youtube and have fun for few hours/days and sometimes it is new undetectable (for some time) hack. -

I feel ya, I just posted similar story in KoS pinned thread. Unless you are one of the Berezino warriors you better KoS untill humanity system with bandit/hero skins is in game. -
Actually on DayZ mod with humanity system and bandit/hero skin I had many friendly encounters when I bumped on a fellow hero in a city/airfield.

As for OP, unless you like starting over and over in Berezino and taking bullets in the face, don't "team up" with randoms on map but find friends on skype/teamspeak.

On 99% red chain appear when: a) Some player entered your bubble very fast (witin 300-500m or closer) by sprinting in and overload of bandwidth exchange started. b) Some player entered your bubble very fast by spawning within 300-500m from you and overload of bandwidth exchange started.

Never saw spawned police car yet PS. But I remember crashed cars with loot spawns from DayZ mod and they were in the middle of fields, no smoke.

In DayZ mod I was hitted by speeding bus and went throught 300 meters into ocean. Also once I hit a ghillie guy with my jeep, he went throught 300 meters too and stoped on top of medium pine tree. Could not loot him.

Sooo somehwere on the map are spawning police cars with mp5/magazines and when such police car spawns it cancel heli crash spawn. Not sure what to think about it yet. Waiting for map with possible police car spawns.

I saw it posted somewhere on forum.. Anyway I did the reasearch on my own by using http://dayzdb.com/map/chernarusplus to measure 100 meters from point to point and a watch. According to my test without weapon our character while rested sprint: 100 meters in 14 seconds which is ~25km/h and when "tired" 100 meters in 16 seconds which is ~22km/h PS. 15km/h = 100 meters in 24 seconds

I did some testings now. Aparently the thing that determinates from how far will you spot players/zombies is Quality -> Objects. With this on very low I could see non-zoomed player from max 400 meters. With Quality-> Objects on very high I could see player non-zooming from 600+ meters. So Objects is the graphic option that determinates from how far game will render players for you.. More testing. With resolution 1920x1080 and Objects on very high I can spot non-zooming a player from 1,000-1,200 meters. I suspect with greater resolution this distance would increased. Can exploit Field of View for even better results. So for hardcore snipe spotting players only thing you need is resolution and Objects on very high. Rest can be turned off.

I have 10-15 FPS... <_< However try turning off everything in Rendering..., turn off Vsync, turn off shadows and clouds, turn off texture filtering, set video memory to 256 and texture on very low. Maybe this will help. PS. Quality - Objects, set it on very low too.

According to devs shotgun works as intended.. However I was expecting a boomstick like in a movie "Evil Dead" and when I saw it off I expected to be Mad Max.. Too bad that even the fists are better then shitgun.
