Pitch dark nights in DayZ (no gamma cheat) sounds great to me as long as there is no overpowered Night Vision Goggles in game.

I think that gamma adjustment locking in game will be pointless as you can still up the gamma via graphic card setting. Too bad we can't have real night time without gamma cheating. Flashlights, pistol flashlights, all those colorful chemlights, road flare gun and head torches, cars lights, fireplaces etc are useless as it is for now. However, I think If I remember correctly, there was a game on PC Alien versus Predator 1 or 2, where there was the darkness and I tried to cheat it with cranking up gamma but it would not effect the darkness in slightest way. So maybe it is possible to make night time uncheatable.

In my opinion cr527 is a great role play/PvE weapon. But in PvP bolt action makes its rate of fire too low.

I don't trust anything that is bolt action for PvP. Specially not when players have unlimited sprint stamina. However bolt action can be used for counter sniping I think.

That's the thing about DayZ, you don't have to PvP if you don't want to even on high pop server. I remember playing DayZ mod on 75/75 player server and I never even met other players when I was away from PvP hot spots. -
Lag during fire fights - A specific question

I got it too. When someone enters my netwrok bubble I always got this specific freeze/lag/frame loss, so I always know when someone is within 1km from me. And when I start shooting in the close distance at someone I often got the same thing with sudden frame loss. I believe it is too slow CPU to calculate sudden network bubble info exchange or something. -
There must be lack of noobs trying to get to the island and sniper guys are getting bored, so they bait on forum :D

Exactly. Just wait till modding is allowed and when servers like extra barracks, bonus military loot and donator gear load out comes out. Those will be the most populated ones.

That would be overkill for freshspawns. Dieing form thirst and no gun to fight their way to water source camped by some squad...no fun. In my opinion current numbers and locations of of wells are just fine. EDIT. Never mind. Rethinked that and I think it would be okay if wells would be fewer and players would be forced to drink from ponds and get infected so all those water purification tablets and medicine to cure sickness would have some use. Fresh well water would be a nice treasure for organized players that would control well area.

In Dayz mod, there is mod "CELLE" it got like 4x denser forest then normal. I think it is overkill tho, 2.5x denser forest would be fine imho

Maybe it does nothing for computers that can run DayZ fairly normal.. But for my potato it helped a lot, I usually have jumpy 10-40 FPS while traveling thought cities and forest but with this game booster I'm getting nearly 30 in cities and 50-80 FPS in forests. Never seen such "high" numbers before using Razer Cortex.

I'd say if you are not happy with your FPS that you already have, it is worth to try it.

Having Lada as a hobby car for weekends is ok. While you repair it as a hobby or simply have money for mechanic or have someone that repairs it for you for free. But what I was thinking was the guys that are 25+ and use Lada as their main car lol.

I would be careful with game booster because I think that you may get banned while using those. Reasons: To "boost" your game it must cut off some graphic context right? And by anti hacks it can be taken as a hack program trying to use wallhack or something. If I am wrong and someone is using this game booster for a while and not got banned please post. PS. I am thinking about accident that took place a while ago when players were boosting their FPS by removing grass from the game. Some of them got banned.

Yeah, you gotta clean the wounds with it, but don't drink it, you will die. This or you can try the tablets, I forgot the name, not charcoals but the other ones.

If we are by this ideas I would think about something simpler: 20 minute respawn timer.
