This is how it was in DayZ mod and the same thing is in the Standalone. If you fight "fair" or bump into each other in the building it will almost always be a double kill.

Is Controlled Spawn points still in the Road Map, any news?

First of all DayZ should not try to be another Call of Duty clone. Second thing is that spread out random spawn points on the coast are making you value your chracter virtual life at least a tiny little, so you don't #YOLO rush people and if you die then you just respawn, pick up your gear and revenge kill them. Well that is if you are not in Berazino. -

Balancing between CPU and GPU Any setting lower than high will use your CPU instead of GPU (graphicscard) and this can be very useful if you don't have a powerful GPU. Sometimes, setting values to high can actually improve fps since a GPU is alot faster on some types of calculations compared to a CPU. Hmmm seems like setting textures on very low or high don't have any effect at all on the FPS. For me at least.

Yeah but I would not give a f* about it. I already got it covered. If my character get sick I'll move somewhere near spawn zone, drop my gear in some bushes, suicide/die/get my friend to kill me, respawn, pick up my gear and continue playin' just sayin'

Well when none is taking care of the city like during the z-day, whole area turn into Africa basically. It happens even in 1st world countries during the flood if special units don't take care of the garbage soon enough.

More realistic then moving with sanic speed on completely flat area while your equipment weights nothing at all. PS. And while you take one bullet to the body your character also don't gieve a f*. Realistic PPS. Then don't walk around with gun when shots ring around you but start sprinting? Oh wait, you want to sprint Unreal Tournament or Counter-Strike style? -

My thoughts exactly. Old movement felt like Unreal Tournament or Counter-Strike. New movement feels more realistic. -

How does axe stays on our characters back? Magnets? Shouldn't rope be required to make improvised harness for the axe to be able to put it on your back and have a free hands?

I was trying to ambush some sniper on sniper hill of NWAF whole Friday night and Saturnday afternoon and nothing not a living soul. So I moved inside the airfield and mare 2 hours later I spot sniper on the sniper hill :S

With boosted gamma I see errything greyish-dark but the players are dark-orangish/old-yellowish which makes spotting players at night 10x easier then in the day for me actually. PS. This was not an issue in old night, in old night players were not glowing.

New night in .47 experimental? It is real bad, when I exploit gamma I see players glowing. Need to be worked on players textures or something so they don't glow so much.

Turn off everything in Rendering in Video settings, turn off clouds and shadows, lower textures detail to very low.
