Yeah ok, but viewDistance is the distance that you see the "flat" hills and preferredObjectViewDistance is the distance where you see trees, zombies, players. So having preferredObjectViewDistance higher then viewDistance is not making you see the trees floating in empty space? -

You should keep viewDistance higher then preferredObjectViewDistance I think. Having it other way around may cause funny things to going on. No? -
I see a pattern from this thread. 4 man squad > 4 man+ squad of undisciplined players. Basically larger group needs militarish discipline to be effective and not everyone is ok with that when he plays game.

In DayZ mod on 99,9% of private servers it was that a 20 players squad often with private server admin himself controlled and farmed NWAF. So I think same thing will take place in Standalone eventually. -

Dude....I have a unbelievable problem with vaulting with V above knee high fence or pulling out weapon with hot bar.. those thing you suggest will never work with the desynch we have. -
Hope players life will have some value soon besides the gear :S Yes, revenge kills at NEAF or Berezino are absolutely horrible. You kill the guy and 5 minutes later bambi is trying to knock you out because he knows your position.

That free aim thingy was possible in DayZ mod and Arma 2 generally by sliding option called "aiming dead zone" or something. Too bad it was not ported to Standalone, we have only head bob I think. -
What is causing the FPS drop in cities anyway? Building models? Items that are inside buildings? Player network bubble collision with items in buildings?

I was trying to find in google Arma 2 or 3 or DayZ hit boxes models but no results. So pro PvPers playing black females must be just a coincidence ;) But I found this:

I was with one guy on the Mountain and there was lots of other guys for some reason. My PC was chocking on 6-12 FPS when we were operating there and he is saying to me "F* this s* my FPS are dropping to 25 I'm logging". Some people are spoiled.
