    @Lady Kyrah as for DayZ mmorpg-ish style there are two kind of players: a) rich players that have tons of back up tents with phat loot in there (multiple as50's included), they roam the map in choppers or cars and collect tons of military tier stuff from heli crash sites, they have basically infinite items and can die and re-arm themselves as much as they want and b ) poor as sh*t bambies that struggle to grab can of beans from Cherno or Electro supermarket to not die from hunger For first group of players there is too easy and too much weapons in game around but bambies for exemple never even saw heli crash site with as50 on the ground.

    Well I play on very populated server where getting water or food is actually hard (bandits are camping all supermarkets and big cities). And when you try to get one from a barn or low value spawn building you will run so much that you will have to immidetly go look for another one.

  4. So I concluded that people are mad at m107 and as50 cause: 1. They outclass assaoult rifles on mid and close range (400 meters). 2. People can log out from game and reset zombies that they lured with them. 3. They can shot down heli and cars in one or few shots. 4. They are used to own bambies and bambits in Cherno and Electro from hills. My suggestion how to deal with it without removing m107 and as50: ad1) Make it so you have to set them up before you can start shooting and make it take 5-10 seconds. If you don't set them up and start shoot, make it'll have big recoil. ad2) This can be solved with 30 seconds log out timer or make it so that game remembers how many zombies you have aggroed on you and respawn those zombies few seconds after you done logging to the game. So if player log out, zombies despawn, if he log back in zombies spawn again. If player aggroed with m107 or as50 all zombies from city in range on 500meters (50 zombies lol?) then they will respawn aggroed at him even if he log out and will go after him untill zombies will be killed or outrunned. ad3) nerfing damage done to vechicles maybe? ad4) Bambies can get their gear from other cities then Cherno and Electro. No problem here.

    But this suggestion is to make weapons randomly jam, no matter if you maintain them or not.

    I've played mmorpg with jamming, detorenting weapons (Fallout Online 2238) and it looked cool and fun in theory but in practice it made game not fun.

    Good post. Let's keep real life away from this cause in real life biggest problem would be to keep rifles (and specially sniper rifles + scopes) in good enought condition to be accurate above 100 meters, in situation like we have in DayZ.

    Military helmets in real life are there only for the psychological effect to make soldiers feel safer as any sniper or assault rifle bullets (or even some handguns bullets too) comes throught them as knife throught butter. But well it's video game so helmet as some force shield can go I guess, but It would be cool if hitbox of it covered only top of head and not face and neck.

    That've gived me an idea. How about then, if you could equip certian weapons, for exemple as50 after your character have survived for like 7 days. This would stop people from re-arming their characters from tents where they have stockpilled military grade weapons in their "previous life".

    Now I saw it. It was a bunny. From time to time it spawns near you, run for a while and then dissapear. It's scripted event.

  14. That will never happen. Admins on private servers always will abuse their power in on way or another. Only way to deal with it is to ignore or accept it. To cheer OP I'll tell some of my stories. On one server I've found admins URAL (big truck) parked in a forest about 1km from North West Airfield, packed up with phat loot, perfect condition, full of fuel. So I get in and drive away in da woods. After 5 minutes server "crashes", then as I log in URAL fuel tank is empty, I so I get out and hide away in woods. After another 10 or so minutes there is chopper flying, admins land, refuel URAL with jerry cans and one of them drive it away to their base. On another server there was unfamous map going around with all the custom loot and vechicles spawn zones marked on it that one of admins gieved to his friend.

    There was a PC game about hunting dinosaurs called Carnivores. I like it, would play in multiplayer Dayz style.

    You can kill other bandits for +500 humanity each. This way you can use Makarov to increase your humanity instead of blood bags.

    Why banditing?

    That's the good point. Maybe if, for exemple, your thirst and hunger level decreased slower when you have higher humanity (like 20 minutes, 30 minuted, 45 minutes for heroes of no need to drink, eat) and faster for bandits (like if every bandit would need to drink eat every 10,8 or 7 minues), then not killing on sight would make sense, and more likely non-bandits would shoot only bandits. Cause as it is for now, not killing on sight is just stupid.

    This thread have become so sad. I feel sorry for all those bambies who got owned by "evil" bandits. I dunno, maybe there should be PvZ servers (Player vs Zombies) where ability to kill other players is disabled?

  24. Green is low possibility of encountering players (potential bandits) [but not as low as on non-colored area]. Also yeah, yesterday I painfully noticed that traffic on that hill is pretty high, I would say like Orange level.
