Never not kill a medic. 50/50 its actually a bandit who is trying to earn your trust before stabbing you in the back. Plus, you get all sorts of nice loot if you kill one.

I'd be fine with booby trapping provided that when you booby trapped yourself it would be entirely possible to forget and blow yourself to kingdom come while trying to retrieve an apple.

I imagine it will be like every single other character wipe since DayZ began. We'll lose our gear and spawn at some spawn point somewhere.

Everyone spawns around Berezino right now, of course the only places military loot spawns is going to be camped. -

No I didn't play BP on Arma 3, I don't own it. I did play it on ArmA 2 though, and it was like every other shitty version of the mod. -

Going to point out to everyone complaining about a tiny map. You run 30km/h on nothing but rice and cans of soda. Once they fix that, it's going to start feeling bigger. Also, I'd imagine if they implement helis/cars its going to be like the original mod. Not Breaking Point, not Overwatch, not Epoch. There will not be a helicopter on every street corner and a working car under every street light. They're going to be rare. Bonus edit: If you get out of those 3 cities in the NE, it gets a lot less crowded and a lot bigger. -

ITT people assume "armed helicopter" means an Apache/Mi-24/Ka-52 And not a Huey/Hip/Blackhawk with door gunners. -
DayZ needs more Valkyries. Those who die a warriors death get taken to the great Mead Hall in the sky. If you die on a ladder, you get to watch us have fun.

Fell off the roof of an apartment building north of Cherno. Landed on a car in the street. Was fairly exciting.

Good to know, I usually just check if someones dead by trying to walk over their corpse. Never bothered with check pulse.

How do you even know they were STA members? To the best of my knowledge theres no way to identify players, unless they were typing in direct for God knows why.

Holy shit, I almost choked to death on my beer. Also, OP, welcome to the ArmA engine. Where terrain is more deadly than 500lb bombs.

I dunno, since theres literally nothing to do yet at this point besides KoS, its fine. Now if there were other things we were supposed to be doing besides DMing in the NE I could see a problem. But right now all we are able to do is eat, drink and shoot.

200 sq. km map with player characters that have a 30km/h sprint speed and never get tired. I can understand it feeling small. Hopefully they tone down the run speed at some point and add some sort of stamina system (like ACE has) before the release.

Hopefully it'll make people go a little further inland to get geared up. Spawning in Berez/Solnich and having the NEAF right there was so fucking dumb.
