    Gullies between mountains more than likely. Easiest place to hide anything since most people won't be out near most places on foot and won't be looking down there if they fly.

    I usually play on those kind of servers with my mates. Crawling through the mud and finding that one can of beans is great and all, but sometimes you need to let loose and race SUVs or go as fast as you can through a town with a helicopter. EDIT: Or, like an Isladula server I play on add a shit ton of vehicles to the airfields, restart the server, and have a battle royale in the skys.

    You're hitting things awful fast if you're car is exploding. Or you're running around with a red engine and hull at the same time... I once had the engine on a pickup detonate as I was driving. True story.

    I think your main issue is that you expected a perfectly polished experience from a mod. DayZ has no control over a lot of things as its built on top of a preexisting game and has to use the engine its provided with. I'd wait for standalone to come out before you start reviewing.

    Generally, if they're carrying a weapon bigger than a pistol I'll drop them on sight. If they follow me around they die. If they get too close to one of my buds, they die. Oh yeah, and if they have a hatchet, they die too. Fuckin' hatchets.

    Fell off a grain silo in Namalsk and had to crawl all the way to Old Hospital to find some morphine. I made it there, and got shot with a crossbow before I could break the window. THE RAGE. THE BLISTERING RAGE.

    Nothing, I even move down TS channels when I play so I can hear zombies/people who be creepin' and can tell when someone is firing nearby and more than likely at me.

    Was playing on Chernarus, running through a field, someone on side chat asks if I want a heli ride. Say sure if he can find me, not 30 seconds later I hear a chopper. Hit the dirt under a pine tree. Watch him stop and begin descending, laugh my ass off as he hits the power lines and crashes. Take my new gear and continue on in search of a vehicle.
