    Am I the only one who wants to see this? If I were running through the forests of Chernarus and suddenly, a voice from the trees began telling a tale of their lives (and if it was good) I would drop all the food in my pack purely because the fact someone put more thought then "Has food, want, pew pew." into the game would make me cry tears of joy.

    I've got an M107 on the trophy stand in my tent. I'll never use it but its an interesting conversation piece. EDIT: Oh god, if ACE is any indication of how the gun actually works in RL we can thank every deity ever that it isn't in the game.

    Pretty sure they've been suggested but. -Windage -Weight -And removing .50cals altogether (They make sense in ArmA2 not DayZ, Snipers=Bueno .50cals with scopes =No Bueno) EDIT: Actually, how about we replace the AS50 and M107 with the KSVK? Makes more sense given the setting. Hell, maybe take out the Page Up and Page Down zeroing style, make people actually move the scope to make the shot.

    Oh god not this thread again. Heil Applejaxc. Apple, we get it. You don't like 3rd Party VoIP. Enough already, stop trying to shove your playstyle down everyone's throats. We don't care if you want this to be an Ub3R Hardcore Zombie Survival Sim, it's a freaking game we're playing it to have fun. We're not breaking any rules stated in the TOS, we're not duping AS50s and their mags, we're not nuking entire servers, we're using Skype/Vent/Steam/TS3/Raidcall/InsertVoIPHere to talk to friends and have fun while we play which hurts absolutely NO ONE.

    Setting up a settlement near Blunt Rocks would prolly work out pretty well, lots of lakes up there, plenty of forest cover, and its near Berez which has a supermarket and a hospital plus a few military spawns last I checked.

    I've got atleast one smoke and one M67 in my bag at all times, except now, because I threw the M67 at a bandit to make him log out because I didn't wanna waste ammo. It worked : ) Yeah, but M67s don't have a built in safety feature like the M203s, so you're less likely to not have it go off.

    I just did my NWAF run for the day. Jesus Christ helicopter spawns. Enough M1014s to outfit a rebellion, 5 DMRs, an NV FN FAL, SVD Camo (No mags Q.Q), and an M107 with 1 mag. Found within two square kilometers. EDIT: Oh yeah, and fuck the new zombie spawn mechanic. I hid in a bush and went to take a leak near a crash site, came back to several DOZEN zombies milling about.

    Oh, I have another tip. Make sure they can read the bloody map. You have no idea how many times I've given grids only to have my friend go "Uhhhh what?" ^This guy gets it. EDIT: Oh and I thought you guys might like to know, every time I play DayZ using TS I think of you all. <3

    Unless we start getting DayZ servers with ACRE and radio drops we're gonna see people using 3rd party VOIP because the ArmA2 system leaves alot to be desired.

    I use TS3 because I generally enjoy talking to the people I play with, if I wanted to spend most of the game in silence I wouldn't bother playing with friends. And I have no idea what a "trigger finger" or a "Spud Controller" is as I don't play console, and I really don't care to learn.
