So, in this hypothetical scenario. How long would an illness last? How many charcoal tabs would I have to hypothetically eat to cure my self of this hypothetical disease?

Isn't loot and zombie respawn one of the big points of DayZ right now? Doesn't feel like a very persistent world if I loot a building run 100m away, have a beer, run back and it magically has more loot.

We need beards. Screw everything else in the game, rocket and friends, we need beards that grow over time.

Being able to change the order of clothing in the inventory. So my bag full of food isn't hidden at the way bottom beneath 4 other layers of storage. Duct taping a flashlight to your gun could be kinda nifty as well.

Yeah, it doesn't do anything anymore. Finally manage to get north without starving to death and suddenly a wild db clear appears! Fuckin Alphas man....

First, it's biased. Not bi-est, sounds like you're saying something is more two than another two. Secondly, to throw my two cents in. You're all right, we don't have to play on the 1000+ vehicles spawn with full military gear servers. But, to use the mod as an example, there isn't alot of choice. If you go look for public hive servers you'll find a handful of populated ones. If you look for private servers its a never ending stream of servers packed with people wanting to play their little deathmatch with a side of zombies instead of playing the mod how it was created to be. We get of choice of playing DayZ: Singleplayer Edition or having to put up with the private server shenanigans. So, yes to possibly changing server names, server restart messages, maybe something to do with time because this 30 Days of Night rendition is getting old. No to loadouts and editing vehicle spawn numbers.

I'm liking what I've seen (through the unending night) so far Good: Decent FPS unless I try and zoom in on Cherno/Elektro from a distance Zombies (when they appear) are a bit more challenging Not tons of guns everywhere Bad: Its night. Perpetually. Every server running ingame time the same as out of game is obnoxious Status messages are vague, random, and occasionaly don't pop up until you die. I got shot in the butt and my cool shades exploded.

This is how most of my time is spent in DayZ I <3 my AN2.

Using an AN2 as a weapon against some bandits in a heli. Altitude + AN2s gliding + oblivious bandits gunning down fresh spawns in Cherno = A good waste of a biplane I honestly don't think I've managed to top the speed I caught coming straight down on their heli in a biplane yet.

I play every now and again. Either vanilla or various mods. Spent a few hours this weekend on a Origins server bandit hunting and eating copious amounts of beans. BTW, Fallen_ guys, if you read this. When someone starts shooting at you you should probably move.

OP is why I still have some hope in this game. I miss the days of hearing someone telling me to drop my guns instead of just spewing rounds at me until eventually they hit me.

Combos, Orange Soda, and Starbucks I would cease functioning in 2 weeks.

I was reading this and thought, "Wait, what about zombies? We need to shoot those things in SA because apparently they're better than in the mod!" And therefore I'd like to put forth a scenario: Lets say a survivor, let's call him Ozelot, is going through Cherno hunting beans. Suddenly a wild survivor appears in the distance, lets call him Billy. Billy doesn't see Ozelot and Ozelot has a Enfield with 3 rounds of ammo. Ozelot immediately drops prone and opens fire on vulnerable Billy. The first shot goes wide because Ozelot was just running and his character is out of breath, the second hits Billy center mass and he goes down bleeding and unconscious. Ozelot now has one bullet left for his trusty Enfield and a feeling of victory in his heart. His revery is broken by the screams of approaching Zeds attracted by the gun fire. Ozelot has one bullet and there is more than one zombie. If God smiles upon young Ozzie he will escape Cherno intact, however if he is not as lucky Ozelot will join young Billy in death. Less ammo, weapon degradation, and better Zs won't stop KoS on their own, its the overlap of the features that does it.

Dean, why you make us feel these feels. All that hype only to have it dashed. Dean better be a master ruseman and just saying that hide the fact SA is coming out shortly.
