I'd rather have to look around for things that have spawned then walk up to a shelf/locker/box and press tab to search it. Also, as far as I can tell in DayZ the apocalypse has happened already. We're not at the start of a zombie outbreak, we're coming in after it has already wiped out most of the population of Earth. People will have looted anything and everything. A completely empty grocery store makes perfect sense because everything in it was stolen by people getting the hell out of Dodge.

Oh hey, its this thread. Search function. Also, no humanity system. I want to play how I want to play with out the game deciding that because I shot 10 people I now dress like a super duper scary badman or get a frikkin superman costume because I bloodbaged someone a number of times. No humanity. No psychic powers that give me a little indicator when I look at someone. I want uncertainty and tension in DayZ when I interact with people, not a shiny feature that tells me exactly what kind of a person this guy is. -

Easy, I don't put myself in a position to be betrayed. So, I don't run up to them going FRIENDLYFRIENDLYOMFGWTFBBQSAUCEFRIENDLYINCHERNO. I either just avoid them or shoot them and eat their beans. -

Its an fps problem iirc. For some reason if you have low fps in an RV game it slows you waaaay down. Also, lag/desync prolly doesn't help.

Sometimes the extra pockets from TTSKO are nice to have. Its more food, more water, more bandages. PLUS, it makes it easier to hide from people.

Its the hosting services server, you just rent space on their database. Fairly certain autokicking is worthy of getting taken down, just report the server to its provider.

You can already use the bayonets on their own as melee weapons.

Can't wait till they fix server hopping. I seriously lost the character I've had since the last DB wipe to someone who server hopped into a room behind me and killed me.

Thats why, if you ever have to log out in a building for some legit reason (food, bathroom, cats on fire, hobos broke into your house) you log into the lowest pop server you can find. Move into a bush somewhere, and then log back into your normal server.

I am thoroughly against anything that allows the creation of impenetrable structures. If you can build it, someone should be able to break it.' Can't knock a steel door down with an axe? If you can make an impenetrable steel door then its not too great a leap to consider someone should be able to make some rudimentary lock picks and open the damn thing.

The goal is long term survival. If I come close to you with my bag full of food and shiny gun whats to keep you from hitting me in the head once and knocking me out? Its safer to avoid you or just flat out kill you
