I've found that atleast keeping clouds on very low helps. Seriously, set clouds to very low and go find a server with a full moon nearing dawn. I turned off clouds to see if I could get more light and time jumped back like 6 hours until I turned clouds on again. -
Except its unrealistic as hell. The Mosin can hold 5 rounds internally, it should be able to do that in game regardless of the genre. If you want to nerf the effectiveness of the Mosin, give guns a collision box that doesn't allow you to swing them around through walls. Seriously, a Mosin with a Bayonet attached is the size of one of our characters. Change damage levels on 7.62 rounds across the board.

In 79 hours of gameplay the only time I had my character wiped was when they wiped the whole DB. I thought I'd my character again but I logged out quick and checked another server to find all my stuff intact. So, quit hopping servers so fast OP.

Experimental isn't up yet. It was supposed to come up today but has been pushed back due to bugs found in internal testing.

This looks like a bit of desync. No need to be so mad about it. Also, interested in how you've played 1000 hours of ArmA 3 and 100 hours of the mod and NEVER seen anyone desync....

Theres currently two static ones that'll spawn loot at some point. Not saying where they are though. -
I'm fine with PvE servers. As long as they only show up with the private hives and interface in no way with the rest of the game world. You can have your little flower picking adventure through Chernarus, thats fine and all. But I've gotta ask, when you play a PvE server you remove the element of dieing (unless zombies get real fuckin scary later in development). So you get your camp with all the gear in the game, you have every vehicle in the game, and you have enough food to feed a starving african nation. What now?

Clicking once brings up the iron sights, holding right just zooms in without bringing up the iron sights.

I've got everything I need to survive. copious amounts of food, three canteens, pristine gear out the ass. My Mosin has a pristine PU, Long range scope, bipod and bayonet on it. And for all that looting I've come up with 10 rounds of ammo. This game hates me sometimes

Gore and bodies might not be a bad idea if its done tastefully. I stopped playing EvE years ago, I don't want to jump some solo guy and suddenly have him cyno, sorry, teleport his 10 friends on my face

Which DayZ Standalone resources do you use?

I used DayZdb to get a little bit of Cyrillic to know what town I'm in. I also used it to check out the Cernes abbas giant and all the pretty knew town spots in the north. -
I'd tell you to search function but Valdimahr beat me too it. Prolly when the game hits beta in 6-12 months

Tell that to 7 hours of gameplay and only finding 10 rounds so far Mosin's magazine is internal, when you reload the gun you're basically loading the magazine without detaching it.

Go explore. Theres tons of new area to the north. Some old areas have been tweaked Places we never would've gone to even under threat of death in the mod are now worth visiting.
