  1. Thank you, but that thread didn't solve the problem. I don't have a laptop with an Fn key where the function might be hidden somewhere, I have a Logitech Media Keyboard 600. The key doesn't seem to be there at all. I tried the program SharpKeys which lets you map certain keys to other keys, but that didn't work either. I thought there may be a simple solution, like changing the keybinds in the arma/dayz config? But I don't know how this function is called and also the keybinds are strange numbers. EDIT: "It may be remapped in the future." - Well that would be the easiest solution, although I would have to wait for it. ;)
  2. Hi DayZ Forums, With the new update you can turn on the Debug monitor (showing your stats, humanity, blood, zombies etc.) by pressing Scroll Lock. However, my keyboard does not have such a button... maybe they thought it was obsolete. Anyway, do you know how I can bind the Debug monitor to another key? I guess I need to find the option in the config somewhere but I don't know how it's called. Thanks
  3. Hello DayZ Forums, I get really bad fps when I don't close Play WithSIX upon launch. Did anyone experience a similar thing? I turned off the option "close application after launch" today because I was looking for a new server and had to reconnect very often. Took some time to find out that the settings were not the real problem but play WithSIX, because suddenly, whatever I did, I could not get much more than 20 fps in the game, even on very low settings that worked perfectly before. While recording with MSI Afterburner, my framerate in cherno even dropped to under 10, making the game unplayable. While I have read that you should close Play WithSIX upon launch, most FPS guides focus on in-game settings and config tweaks. I can't stress enough that Play withSIX may cause problems for a lot of players, especially those who don't have a good gaming PC (My specs are at the bottom if you are interested). I guess the point of my post is that this should be the first thing you should try if you get bad FPS in game. Please try it out and share your experiences! Notice that the before/after videos were recorded on the same server (just a few minutes apart) with MSI Afterburner at 720p and MJPG compression quality @ 90%, which takes away about 7-10 fps while playing. The only major difference is that in the first half, Play WithSIX was running in the background, while in the second half of the video it was closed.Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300 @ 2,5 GHz Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3 Memory: 4GB DDR2 RAM Graphics Card: Gigabyte Radeon HD7870 GHz Edition OC 2GB GDDR5 (just bought this one but it didn't give me any noticeable boost when playing dayz anyway)
