I think it's funny that people who are proponents of removing 3rd, don't usually play on 1st person servers. If you don't like other people using it, why not play a 1st only server? Just sayin :P

If so many people prefer first over third, then why the hell are none of them playing on first person only servers. Are they bothered at the thought of people playing on servers where it is enabled? I'd like some insight, please :P

Ugh, I hate the coast. Unless I've just netted an easy spawn with good loot and a safe route North that can easily supply me(Balota or Komarovo), and after I've cleansed I split for the North. The South is nothing but death, banditry, and a easy way to get sniped. I generally stick around the Mid West strip though.

This has really got me down. Its not like my usual shitty troll attempt, I'm actually pretty saddened by this. Don't blame DayZ, blame ArmA. Black mountain was never really a big point of interest or a local that could live up to much, you get to run over a few Chedaki camps in the campaign and it was pretty disappointing. I think you people forget that ArmA wasn't designed with your needs in mind :P

I think 3rd and 1st should be improved, but neither removed. Sadly, these blood thirsty lichens can't stand for compromise. Its like American politics, while us Moderates may have the answers, the bickering Right and Left want to silence the center to keep us divided and have everything go their way.

I'm pretty happy with what I've seen. The game looks like its coming together, and I imagine that the release is sooner than all these pessimist fuck offs say(sorry guys, you just ruin my day). The graphics look almost as good as ArmA 3, better than TKOH. Texture quality is, frankly, amazing and a pretty major jump from ArmA 2 which suffered from reusing old models from ArmA 1. The M4 is coming along great, and they've taken the customization to a level that surpasses that of ArmA 3. The map, buildings, grass, wrecks, and road textures are pretty as can be. In my opinion, this is a huge jump from E3. The devs must be sitting in Prauge, waiting above the red button and the A-OKAY from Marek to release this bitch. C'MON YOU CZECH BASTARDS, HAVE A HEART!

I hope someone ports the Standalone map to ArmA 3. Lets petition to have the Standalone map in ArmA 3 on official release. I might make a poll.

Fix the camera to where it can no longer provide such an advantage, and stop these assholes who think that they're entitled to make everyone play the same as they do. THERE ARE FIRST PERSON SERVERS FOR A REASON.

Why can't we have both? Why can't there be two options, for the server owner to pick. Is that too hard, does it scare these people that there are people out there that use third person? Do they have to ruin the game for them?

This argument went to shit fast. Make it server side option, and all our problems will be solved. Oh, I forgot. If other people who aren't even in the same game as you can use 3rd person, IT MUST BE DESTROYED. Are you too lazy to play on a first only server? DESTROY THIRD PERSON! If other people can enjoy and use something that I don't like and can avoid, I MUST DESTROY IT!

Hey, I've been getting into this new mod called "DayZero". Whilst I've fallen away from my normal server, this might be the best mod of the mod yet to come. In my opinion, it's superior to breaking point, origins, and overwatch(I hate them all, qq). Its got new interiors for the hospitals, and three houses plus those large military houses. Its got new car wreck locations and textures, plus tons of new bases. Its got normal CDF bases, and the new NATO bases within the cities that include some rather ironic yet funny warning signs("no running!", or "no shooting!"). It also has AI choppers and chopper crashes, plus a whole new plethora of guns. They only chose the best of the gun models from the RH weapons pack, and they aren't overly common. Plus, they're all newly balanced, so PvP isn't always a chore. And one of my favorite parts is, OPTOMISATION! I was getting 40, yes 40 FPS in Cherno. I'd get around 70-75 in small towns and 50-60 in medium towns and 50 in Elektro. UNHEARD OF. All on high and normal settings! I say, CHECK IT OUT! The only real downside is a fairly annoying process of getting whitelisted, and some special goodies that donators get(I don't have paypal!).

Those little guard houses next to gates that spawn weapons. I've found AK's, M4's and M16's, and tons of pistols. Plus grenades and GPS's.
