No. The US, in return for helping Chernarus in their civil war(arma 2 campaign, play pls), were allowed free access to develop chemical weapons with the country. A few years after the war, a power outage depressurizes the research facility. One of the diseases: a airborne viral disease that mutates into blood borne upon infection, escapes from the facility and begins to infect the local population. Some people, whose blood types will not allow the virus to reproduce, survive and try to survive among the infected population and each other. tl;dr cap. cap'n -

I'm not sure, I'm laying on the boundary between "acceptable" and "c0d kid". I'm saying that because the majority of people generalize by age. I'm still hitting the highs, but my voice is reasonable(the only forum member I know for sure who has heard me talk is Burt and Inception.). Now, Inception. is also fifteen. His balls have dropped and then some. Hell, if he never told me I'd guess he was 23. And even if MOST 12-13 year old kids playing this game may play death match servers, it doesn't mean they are all "c0d kids". -
You know what's funny? That song is really fucking big in the Czech Rep. Practically half of the comment section is in Czech.

I much prefer the 28 Days Later infected, as it seems much more plausible(as plausible as a "zombie" can get :P), and actually seems scary to me. Slow moving zombies aren't scary. Infected, rage filled people who want to crush your skull and bath in your liver fluids are scary. -

They don't need an engine license because the engine is developed by Bohemia Interactive in house. Actually, a lot of assets and such are covered by Bohemia. One of the last decent game companies imho -
DayZ Minimum specifications?

These are some of the basic specs I've seen, but I've heard that they are only preliminary and a higher end rig may be required as the dev build isn't running large scale servers yet. CPU- i7 3930k GPU- at LEAST 2 780's, framerate may suffer without three HDD- 3tb, the game will use up a good 2.5tb. SSD- I heard loading takes about an hour, with an SSD. They've yet to try it with a hard drive. RAM- 16GB's minimum, still causes visual tears and such without an extra stick of four. -

I steer clear of Epoch. The only mod I play outside of Vanilla is DayZero, and it's fairly tame with loot and vehicles. I can share that frustration sometimes, but you have to remember it's just a game. I was playing with some friends, when one of them drags on a friend of his. Annoying little prick NEVER stopped complaining. We found a Technical in DayZero, and attempted to take out a pedo van at Balota. He turns out to be a god awful gunner(PLAY ARMA PLEASE! YOU WILL BE MUCH BETTER! TRUST ME!), and the guys in the van jump out and snipe him off the truck. We were 15 meters away and he still couldn't hit it. And he blames me. He pretty much whined nonstop for the rest of the night, and broke his legs later on. We dropped him off at his Ural and asked for morphine, and we all told him we didn't have any. As soon as he leaves the TS, everyone admits to having two or more packs of morphine on them. -

We'll try to fit as many people in as possible. Some will be background characters, some will have cameos, and some might just be there to get killed(all the forum bronies will die in the war). We can only write in SO many characters. -

ArmA has some of the highest quality trees of any game. I can't see many games matching the sheer quality, fidelity, detail, or beauty of it's shrubbery. My favorite are the skinny pine trees with the funny tops(not the yellow ones), that are somewhat rarer. I see a lot near Skalka, Zelenogorsk, and around Stary and Krasnostov. Also what is the purple grass I find up North near Vybor and Skalka? I wish there was more of it, it looks cool. -

Make: Crisp, colorful, detailed graphics that run good but don't provide advantages for players on lower settings. Tone down blur of post process, or force bloom and HDR High poly hands and bearable weapon holding animations(I hate everyone who doesn't admit that the hands in ArmA 2 are terrible) Extensive crafting that pertains to every loot able item within the game world Stick with Chernarus and the Armaverse with story, maybe connect the ArmA 2 campaign through clever easter eggs Less military bases and more residential loot Make all guns something to be cherished and used sparingly Make melee common and introduce Dead island-esque melee mechanics Break: Force everyone to play 1st person only Shitty graphics Postpone addition of cars and boats for elongated time Remove Utes from the sea Make guns and food a commodity as it is now Focus on less variety of weapons Remove the AKM -

Funny, I get better frames than you... like 25-45 in cities/towns(Cherno 25, 30-35 in Kras, Zelen, Beren, and 40-45 in all other towns and airfields). I get 60 FPS in forests and plains outside of the city. My rig: Radeon HD 7870 2gb Twin Frozer AMD FX 8320 OC'ed to 4ghz 12gb DDR3 Kingston 1866mhz 1tb(2x 500gb) Seagate Barracuda ArmA is a strange beast indeed :P -

Let's say that the survivor is a American tourist whose plane landed on Utes and takes a ferry to the mainland. Some time during the boat trip, the crew and passengers become infected and he is thrown off the ship. He washes ashore, unconscious and freezing.
