Why is this game getting worse and worse in performance?

My performance has only been improving with each patch. -
I've had it happen a couple times. I have also been onehit killed by a zombie once. I chalk this one up to a bug.

The double barreled shotgun is only meant to last you until you find another gun and then onehit kill him with it. -
Feel like I'm wasting my time looking for a vehicle

Don't even bother to look for vehicle spawn locations, those are changed all the time and not going to be in every server. Take trips that go through multiple towns, you'll find one eventually. -
You should wait for the upcoming Steam summer sale, you'll probably get at least 25% off even if you don't wait for it to be on the super daily sales.

Okay, here's the problem. Ammo is not rare as is because you're going to just keep reusing the same mags due to ammo replenishing on logout. This is being removed with 1.7.2 This means you will be severely punished for using guns like a FAL and Bizon which have rare ammo. FAL ammo could be solved by letting you turn DMR mags into FAL mags, and Bizon mags just need to spawn somewhere. SVD mags spawn in ammo boxes, but those are even rarer than Bizon/FAL mags so their ammo should probably be added to the loot tables somewhere too.

An accident involving our brand new Ural lost us nearly all of our gear and forced a trip to the coast to pick someone up. Not a big deal, except lack of gear made us hunger for a Stary Sobor trip. And the others got bored at camp so they took one of our cars out to meet us at Stary Sobor. So the three of us are there, I'm guarding the vehicles while they loot. But I got found first despite hiding in a bush, and we were slowly taken down and lost two vehicles. After a few more deaths along the coast we eventually ended up together in the eastern Elektro fire station. This guy with an axe comes in and tries to kill us but we kill them. Then this other guy comes in with nothing, I shot him in the knee. We then bandaged him, gave him painkillers and a transfusion and let him loot the axe of the guy we killed and set him on his way. This guy was determined, he was not hitting respawn. We gave him strong words of encouragement over direct chat but received no response. The other guy went on a solo trip to NWAF and died to a server hopper, and then we found a van just on the road north of Elektro. It needed so much stuff, but we went around and fixed it. Headed back to Stary to expectedly see our vehicles were gone. Speed looted it and left. We lost nearly all of our guns, one of us still only has a patrol pack, both of our NVG, and multiple vehicles tonight. But we had fun, and that's what matters.

The biggest dealbreaker with the AR-15 guns to me is how god awful the iron sights are. Love the CCO though. That being said I think the AKM is the only assault rifle with zeroing in DayZ. -

The reason the tools make you drop ammo is because they are counted as weapons. So this fix applies to that as well. -

Vehicles are placed at server start. There is one exception. New bicycles spawn as you get near them. Evidence: My friends and I have found multiple vehicles driving through empty towns in a vehicle.

Sometimes the game will let you attempt to put things into your bag when you do not have enough spaces for it and then just delete the item. There were obviously two winchesters in that barn. Primary weapons require 10 slots, the Patrol pack only has 8 slots. -

Usually about 6 hours, but we often have little play for a day between each of these. -

The spawn locations are all over. A few unlucky spawns and it can take hours to find even one. That being said there are still some barracks only guns (SVD for example) that don't make downed helicopters a true alternative to barracks looting. -
Been finding a good amount of CZs since 1.7.1 I am almost certain they were not in the loot table for the majority of 1.7.0 as I did not see a single one or any ammo for it until the day before 1.7.1's release.
