It seems the way the zeds are stealth is insanely hard to successfully use which I am on with I'm OK with the pushdown thing and even the infection rate I only have two problems how fast it kills you I think that should be tweaked down just a bit and the fact it can kill you. I feel if you can get infected that easily and with no alternative cures or treatments I think it should just really weaken you like maybe down to 3k blood?

That's one thing I don't understand about the mod right now with all these servers that spawn you with m4a1s or akms and full gear why not just play wasteland at that point? A lot more guns and cool vehicles. Whenever my buddies try to get me to play on a server like that I just suggest wasteland or play on my own. But on topic it seems OP is just trying to troll people with the attitude of a 14 year old for some reason but I will play cautiously and try to be a good guy some of my best sessions and funniest games have been when I save someone and team up with a stranger.

The only thing I don't like about "audio" clues for things like hunger is you might miss them when in real life I wouldn't accidentally starve to death because I didn't hear my stomach growl. I know he wants more immersion but unfortunately we don't have all our senses in game and I feel we need just a little bit of help. I agree with the post above it should be an option to turn on and off.

I honestly think if they buffed out all the kinks and such with these two products I would get it just because I know dayz sa will eat a lot of my time and this would be a great way to get a lot of cardio training in! Hell maybe when the real zed Apocalypse happens I will be able to out run the zombies! :)

I have never really done any type of "voice acting" unless you count when I made Halo 2 videos but I would love to be able to contribute to the dayz standalone as for ideas depending on what dean allows maybe a survivor radio show? With multiple guests/experts in which we could give useful tips or hints to other players and maybe even talk about things that get added to the game. Edit: oh yeah also I am eastern time zone but I'm up weird hours due to work and I am off weekends.

I heard it was that and a combination of them not allowing belts in prison due to them being used as weapons so "street thugs" sag their pants as a sign of being tough because they have been to prison. Although now its more of a fashion statement really....

Do you think a sickle would be better? I know a lot of countries use them to cut grass so it would make even more sense as a weapon and able to cut grass

I think its a decent idea the grass is invisible to far away people and could be one of those things people could notice as evidence of people in the area. So if you see it you know a sniper/person was just in that area recently.

I'm sure they will perfect the system as it goes through updates so I'm expecting lots of super zombie deaths and super easy zombie patches till they hit the sweet spot. If I remember correctly I thought dean mentioned in a video that zeds will go from "frenzy" mode to "alert" mode when breaking LOS but I'm not sure I'll try to find the video when I get the chance.

What about a weapon with a strap? One you could just let go that would then hang on you while you grasp the hatchet/knife whatever at your side? It would be relatively fast but not insta switch like warz. I think weapon straps would be a great attachment idea for the SA....

I actually suck ass at grammar and spelling the only reason my posts are spelled right is because of autocorrect on my phone.

I think I did try that and it didn't work I can't remember I'll have to see if I can find another one and try that again.

When I picked up a baseball bat it had no ammo and was unusable someone on the same server complained about the machete having the same problem did not confirm myself. Hatchet does appear to be working properly though.
