Taking a page from Eve Online's book, if possible, introduce an "Aggression Timer" whereby any time a player is attacked by, or attacks, anotherp layer, they get a 15 minute aggro timer, which means that for 15 minutes their body will remain in the world after they logoffski.

Yeah, not going to bother with this anymore. It's bad enough this game is glitchy as fuck (no fault of rocket) but rubbing salt into the literal wound by giving us nothing but a bandage and painkillers on start is just stupid. So let me know when this has been fixed so I can play again. Thanks.

You can't expect people to want to post only about bugs while completely ignoring obviously stupid decisions that kill the game. None or both.

Woah, okay, yeah, same thing happened to me too. I thought (and made a post to that effect) that maybe after I D/Ced last night my body remained on the server and was looted but this is exactly what I have too.. maybe it's some sort of global reset to get rid of all the hack weapons, in which case that's okay, except my NVGs :(((

So last night after 1.7.1.2 hit I tried to play on several servers, none of which lasted more than about 5 minutes before losing connection/server crash. Eventually I gave up for the night. Today, I log in and spawn where I'd last disconnected. However, most of my stuff was gone. My main weapon, my NV Goggles, most of my ammo, and most perplexingly, my sidearm, which had been an M1911 with about 8 mags, was replaced by a Makarov with 3 mags. I still have a lot of stuff, a bloodbag, painkillers, etc, that I had before, but the most important stuff is now gone. It's almost like I'd been looted. While alive and not logged in. Any chance I can get my stuff back? EDIT: Seems this has happened to a number of other people, so I don't think I've been looted or anything. Sounds more like a shadow global item reset?
