Getting attacked/followed by a zombies and going into apartment buildings can be dangerous. If you walk up and stand at the top of the first set of stairs it sometimes bugs and you get attack by what seems like invisible zombies (even when you can see them still outside or just walking in the door). I've been knocked unconscious instantly at least twice in this situation, you can even hear the punches. It's kinda weird and inconsistant. Best way to avoid it is just go up to the second/third floor.

Stop dying and/or giving up so much? But yeah, most people just abuse it to spawn where they want.

Very hard to find decent and populated night servers... even harder if you want non-baby Veteran servers with everything off. Zombies are really easy to avoid at night yet it ups the tension somewhat.

In defense of the MPPSD, the ammo is very plentiful. Always find millions of magazines for it at places like Stary Sobor.

Very different weapons really, the FN FAL will be great for range, damage and accuracy. But that Bizon can be just as deadly purely because the silencer would confuse the hell out of many players... but you would need to be fairly close. Be tempted by the Bizon if it had 5 magazines certainly, good for popping Zeds also. FN FAL ammo is annoyingly pretty rare right now until you can take 7.62 rounds from other magazines. *hint hint rocket*

I see sexes equally and as such would put a bullet into them equally. No chicks play this anyway so you shouldn't hesitate if they look suspicious.

As long as they are rare items it's not a massive problem. (Should be more rare honestly). What a boring and scumbag way to play btw. InstaGibbing poor and freshly spawned scrubs on a crosshair and 3D noob server. Poor show old chap.

Don't use marked maps to find them, all of the ones I've found are never in marked locations. I find if you go looking for choppers you won't find them. I normally find them by accident when I'm not looking for them.

Well, it's a risk having a camp. Plenty of good places to hide them, people just need to be smarter with the tent placement. Basic stuff like don't make a camp between 2 important locations. For example don't place a camp between Stary Sobor and Polena or Mogilevka and Staroye for example. Somebody is bound to talk directly from A to B locations and stumble across it.

That gun is popular with the Zeds, they all want a piece of it after it fires.

YES I actually haven't died yet to experience the new system but I've been in enough "no ammo" type situations to know what it will be like. If this was an earlier version of the game I would have said NO, but with the changes to the Zombies it's perfectly fine. If you get spotted by a Z now at least you have a chance to evade them. In terms of PvP or rather people with guns trolling the beach spawns. Meh, just GTFO of the beach area when you spawn and evade contact with other survivors until you get a weapon if you can't trust anyone.

All the vehicles are pretty fragile or just deathtraps. My last character died because a zombie punched my bus, only decent vehicle in this mod is the bicycle because it doesn't explode.

That place is troll central. The BF community is dead or scattered, many of the old community formed MordorHQ.com after EA killed the EAUK forum (the most popular official forum). The BF series is a mess now.

Nope, it's not out yet but it depends entirely on Rocket I guess. The Arma2 engine is fine visually, but I like the idea of the Arma3 engine from more of a functionality standpoint like having better physics other new features. The only complaint I see from some gamers would be system requirement but I sure it's just as scaleable as Arma2.

Too "gamey" for DayZ methinks.

Already had Arma2 before DayZ, all DayZ did was rekindle my love for the game. I would glady buy a stand alone version (would love it to be on the Arma3 engine).

First character: Lack of food/Zombies Second (26 days): Bug, bus i was driving exploded randomly after zombie punched it.

I've been lone wolfing for a long time now. I used to play with an awesome group but they changed from a Veteran server (with everything off) to a newbie server with the baby options turned on. I haven't seen another survivor in like 2 weeks, only the occasional distant gunshots... I normally move on before they arrive. So I hunt animals, raid the odd quiet village/town and hunt for crashed helicopters looking for FN FALs. I finally found one yesterday (with no ammo fuuuu) but 20mins later the server restarted and it vanished from my backpack. FML I guess I've turned into a survivalist, I get enjoyment from just staying out of trouble and staying alive. 41 days so far on this character (26 on my last, died from a stupid bug). Trying to find another bycle also, it's seriously the best "vehicle" in the game. You can fly around Cherno, my last one glitched and got stuck on the floor of a barn like somebody glued the wheels to the floor.

Maybe Rocket should a deathmatch mode, that will keep these people happy.
