The thrill is survival. Risk of dying is your motivation, it's what makes the game. What is a boring activity? The zombies are pretty boring currently, SA announced there is only going to be 400~ on a server. That's boring. If the game doesn't motivate you to survive, then it's just another first person shooter. If the game's survival is solely based on PVP, then it's just another first person shooter. That's boring.

Adding any equipment is unnecessary, and ruins the flow of the game. Especially when the average player has no idea where it is added. I'm sick of these 1200+ Vehicle servers. A sloo of military weapons. Go play Arma, that's not survival.

Glad i found this topic, i share your thoughts OP The PVE/ Survival still needs to be much MORE difficult IMO. I find surviving way to easy, Food and drinks are plentiful, and your hunger/thirst meters last a long, long time. Tempeture/sickness rarely happen. - The Zombies are only a real threat in extremely large numbers (they are dumb as bricks and move like drunk puppets.), this patch helped bringing some in from further away while shooting, but meh. The game has turned into a shoot on sight any player that moves, find helicopters and fly around in them all day shooting more people because they can't do anything to us until we crash.... Might as well play vanilla Arma if you like that. It's really a walk in the park besides hackers and douches that shoot every living player. I honestly can't remember the last time I've died to environment or zed. IMO, make the environment pure hell, it will force people to work together to Survive. OP, you cannot have the ability to clear a city or area zombie free for long periods of time/forever, this would break a lot of looting. People already flip the loot inside buildings by taking it and moving it outside waiting for new equipment to spawn. Someone at a military base could do this all day until they get something they want? I don't think so.

What a waste of time, who the cares if your GUID and IP are posted publicly? This is a anti-cheat measure, and it alone can be used to detour cheating. I'll post my information right now if anyone wants.

Agreed Wo3dy, Agreed. No incentive to me to host a server any longer, and i have no desire to play in this hacking cess pool of a game. It will die before it makes it to stand alone if the trend continues.

Hackers control the servers, and the game. not the admins. Nuff said. Mine will have the plugged pulled at the end up the month as well. Heres my thread on this matter, i have made suggestions. My thoughts exactly. As i said earlier, not going to get that far if it fizzles out here first. Just because it's announced doesn't mean it can't fail. No sweat off my back not throwing money out the window hosting a server when hackers run it. I'll go play Planetside instead. I wish it the best, but it's really a mess.
