I'll reply to you because at least you made an effort to be nice about it. I understand that a bunch of the people complaining are exactly what you just posted, I'm 100% on your side for that, I don't want to trip over weapons anymore than you but those of us who have legitimate concerns about the new system are being bunched up with them and summarily ignored, You can check the ignorant guy who I replied to before as evidence of that, He assumed that I only want Balota spawns without ever checking what I have actually been posting about (Shoe-horning us into a specific area of the map). Let me go on record here, I'm FINE with spawning in the east as long I'm not ONLY spawning in the east - I don't know if you have died much since the patch but on anything like a populated server there are squads of bandits just camped out at Kamyshovo because 9/10 that is your spawn. I've experienced it a number of times and came to the forums to give feedback about it only to get lumped in with the 'Cod kiddies' just because I have a different opinion to the very loud minority on these forums. On the topic of the spawns it seems to me there are 2 easy fixes for it, 1 - Re-add the spawns along the south coast alongside the east coast and let the 'cod kiddies' go do their suicide thing if they want to get the spawn they think they deserve OR 2 - Add in spawns all over the map, Hundreds of spawns make it VERY random, in the middle of fields in tiny towns, in cities, everywhere. The bandits can't sit and camp the (practically) only spawn any more and the suicide kids won't realistically be able to keep doing it until they get the spawn they want (unless they are REALLY dedicated I guess)

I like the spawns but don't think they should have removed the old ones. add in MORE spawns all over the map not just on the coast - make finding your place on the map a challenge right from the get go Do this and suddenly, people are *everywhere* in *every* town, each new spawn will be an interesting almost unique experience and the whole of this rich and diverse map will be seen.

I've noticed this too - Usually I'm on Skype with people and have to get them all to shush while I listen hard for the next few minutes so far I've noticed Eating Drinking from canteen The crack of a can but not the drinking sound gunshots (Not sure about this one) one single footstep the combine ammo sound I wasn't even sure if was just me or not, Perhaps it should be logged in the bug tracker? :)

Again with the assumptions, and once again you are wrong on all counts. Perhaps you should do some research before embarrassing YOURSELF eh? my post history backs up everything I'm saying. Either way I'm done with this conversation, you are clearly a troll and are just trying to provoke a response. I'm wondering if you even play the game or maybe you just like causing drama here. I'm willing to bet you didn't even read a single post of mine on the subject, pretty much making this statement a troll but let me enlighten you I'm all for the eastern spawns, What I don't like is the spawns being so clumped into one section of the map.. a particularly boring section of the map at that. If they want me to go east they should make the east interesting not just spawn us there 100% of the time. what was next? I don't understand what the game is about? What you mean is I'm not playing the game YOUR way, This is sandbox gameplay you don't get to dictate to me what the game is "all about" and hey, if you want to get down to the dick measuring, I have been playing since well early on in the mod back when it was still rockets mod, I'm perfectly aware of the game you ignorant fuck. Take your hostile attitude and shove it. The change to the spawns has annoyed enough people and enough attention has been brought to it I'm fairly positive we will see more spawns added back in the near future, pretty much what the alpha was for in the first place.

You know I'm getting kind of sick of your hostile attitude towards people giving honest feedback over the spawn changes, We have every right to tell them we don't like it. That's what the alpha is for, stop defending every single change and witch hunting us for giving our opinions of it.

I can understand ADDING spawns to the east coast.. but removing the south/west spawns completely is a bit.. meh. You want constructive feedback? I don't like the new spawn system and it seems i'm not alone in that. Give us MORE spawns, make it MORE random not less :)

Once you realise that you need to overstuff yourself with food and not drink not just satisfy your hunger and quench your thirst the game becomes a LOT easier. First thing to do on any spawn, find a well and spam drink until you are FULL.. you are fine to run around collecting stuff for the better part of 2 hours then without needing to worry too much

Good god I hope not. Daylight is one thing, but if this game gets infected with 1000 vehicle or start with everything servers It'll be game over for me.

Not exactly what you asked for but I find this website to be a fairly decent resource and it's updated fairly regularly logicalincrements.com (it doesn't work great in chrome, try firefox)

Is it just me who could never find an AS50 anyway, This is going to make no bearing on the majority of people who don't spawn things in with scripts. I'll still be sat on my hill with my DMR as per normal ;)

I shut my server down for the same reason - even putting in quite a few hours every single day to admin the damn thing I couldn't keep up and my community whined at me despite my hard work. It simply wasn't worth the effort, which was a shame because it was quite a populated server too =(

Actually I did a counter rob. I went in with every single intention of trading fairly, but just as insurance I had a friend cover the meeting with a DMR Met with the guy as agreed and he said (over direct chat) To leave all my stuff on the ground or his sniper would shoot me, at this point his sniper put a bullet inbetween us... unfortunately for them my guy saw their guy and told me via skype. HIM- "Put all your stuff on the ground!" ENEMY SNIPER- *Gunshot* ME- "I Don't think I will" SERVER- *sniper was killed* ME- "Why don't you put YOUR shit on the ground" He disconnected but we went and looted his fairly well geared sniper corpse quite happily ;)

Aw hell naw. I hate clowns. seriously. I wouldnt go near that section of the map. at all.

You know, this is what happened to Warcraft for me too. My own curiosity is killing games! dang. *EDIT* - Perhaps with the standalone data such as loot tables and damage etc should not be public knowledge? keep the mystery alive a little bit longer :)

Full moon nights, custom towns and extra vehicles are not *Regular DayZ* Not that I'm ripping on your server at all but you are falsely advertising ;) I miss when the public hives were the big thing :(
