I got arma 2 CO + all the DLC before DayZ and found out about the mod because of the new players in arma 2 that told me about it... But yes you get used to how clunky Arma 2 and DayZ are,the UI for me now feels like the best UI i used in a game for some reason...(It just feels easier to me and its a better UI then what most RPG's have like the really bad skyrim UI) I liked DayZ for how hardcore it is!

I love the fast zombies more then slow zombies because slow zombies are to easy,If you are killed by a slow zombie you should just be ashamed of yourself and for the record rocket calls the zombies in DayZ infected not zombies!

side chat is annoying... Use direct chat! Direct chat is much better i don't care about side chat its filled with trolls and is just annoying direct chat is better but ya i agree they should increase the range! Sorry but side chat should be removed! Use team speak or something like that side chat is just annoying and should not be part of the game!

You can work with people if you want you are kinda on the same team but with friendly fire turned on so you can kill anyone and you can be killed by anyone...If you murder other players other players when looking at you will hear strong heart beats from from their character body!

The melee weapons are re textured shotguns! With infinite ammo and almost no range(there are ammo for the melee weapons but they don't take space in your inventory and are infinite but you can't use melee weapons without them!)! Melee weapons take the primary weapon slot!
