Yes car clamps should be extremely uncommon and yes people would strip the vehicle of all of its parts, but in the end you still have your car where you left it B)

Hello DayZ community :beans: I just came on here to ask the question what do you recommend for our future DayZ videos? Our channel: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6XN4swCQFF5-Crg9TaBNlA We are slightly on the right track, but do you think that we need more looting and player engagement instead of just PVP? :beans: in advance

Make that tomorrow afternoon as my mate is kinda not in the mood to play after his parrot died XD -
heavy firefight at elektro.. and the typical dayz bandits ;)

Trusting someone is a risk i am willing to take in DayZ. If you don't trust anyone and you shoot on sight your just bad at the game and limiting yourself. There is so much more you can do if you trust people. -

hey, We are new to YouTube and we are starting off a little DayZ series to see how we go. Here is our first full video that really goes to show some people are not too good at the game and even if they outnumber a group or a person they don't always win if they shoot first.

Don't worry our next video is going to be hardcore as we are getting sick of the lack in immersion that third person gives.

I have no idea what the song is called I just searched "Sad violin music" and picked the first video and downloaded the mp3.

Exactly what we were thinking :) The video will be up some time tomorrow afternoon in Australian time. I will be aiming to get a few hold ups initiated and such just to make the video interesting. -
Such a beautiful and well made game Too bad I am so anti horror that I cannot even edge myself towards playing Amnesia: Dark Descent even though I paid $10 for it.
-
Yep, it is the most I have ever jumped in my whole DayZ life. In the past I have broken a headset from the horror game slender, because I fell off my chair and crushed the headset. Seems like I am just a jumpy person when it comes to jump scares in video games.

I think nothing is original to DayZ standalone at the moment. You have got the immersive videos, trolling/comedy and then PVP. With a game so little that is all we can really do for now. PS: Thanks for the constructive criticism it is what we need right now seeing we are only really just starting.

[RECOMMENDATION] Unable to spawn in when players are in your proximity
GriefSlicer (DayZ) posted a topic in Suggestions
I just came here to post a recommendation on a spawn mechanic. Today I had an incident where I logged off in a nice place in Berezino ready for the next day ahead. Upon logging in I was faced by 3 people who were standing in front of me. Being shoot on sight bandits they started impaling me with bullets and I was knocked unconscious. To prevent this from re-occuring in other situations A player should be restricted to spawn in if another player is within their proximity (eg; If i log in and there is a player within 20m of my spawn location I cannot join the game until the other player has moved on. If the player has not moved on you will have the option to join a different server) -

I am talking about only a 10 - 30m proximity here guys not 100m or 200m. Just enough so your not spawning right in someones face or spawning behind someone and killing them. I mean someone spawning right next to you is obviously unrealistic and isn't exactly fair to the player spawning in. "Don't log out in populated area's... problem solved." Yes this way can solve the issue, but you don't always have the time to log out in non-populated areas. The server you are on can restart and you would be stuck with spawning back in to the middle of a street, building etc. The same will occur if your internet cuts out, your game crashes or you have to get off straight away due to whatever reason. -
Ok i get it.. its alpha.. but this is worse than the mod.

Best places to pitch a tent/make a base?
GriefSlicer (DayZ) replied to tals975's topic in New Player Discussion
Right near bore in a pine tree... no one can ever get you except if they teleport to you which happened to me. You may need a vehicle though so keep that in mind. -
LOL WHAT A RIDICULOUS IDEA... THIS IS SIMULATION YOU DON'T GET SKILL POINTS IRL. YOU GET SKILL, BUT YOU DON'T NEED POINTS

Hey, This is no appeal or anything I'm not stupid, but I have a got a question about how battle eye MAY have some problems. I just want to ask this before I go crazy and try and find anything with an AV software (usually scanning manually by looking in common virus locations is better than AV) Information - I was globally banned when I randomly glitched under the map. After 5 seconds of thinking WTF happened I was globally banned by battle eye - I contacted Battle Eye 3 times, but they are lazy bastards so they never replied - I am the only person who has access to my PC - I have ran a few scans through AV and searched a tiny bit manually myself for any viruses My question Is it possible for Battle Eye to think your a script kiddie, because you randomly glitched under a "no go" area of the map. I guess this is highly unlikely, but really I'm kinda pissed off how Battle Eye can be so ignorant and not even bother replying to a person that has payed $17.00 AU for Combined Ops. They could at least say your "your account has been banned for cheating", because I want to know if someone has accessed my account and used hacks and got banned. I find that funny though seeing I was playing at the time, but maybe battleye doesn't work by a insta-ban system. Maybe they work by a ban wave system where they keep everyone on a list and every week or so they do a mass ban. Its disappointing, but at least i know Battle Eye :emptycan: (empty can for battle eye) is the worst thing that ever happened to anti cheat history :D
