As a hero i wont shoot on sight, but if your a bandit or in a ghillie/camo i cant take the risk, too many times iv been stabbed in the back so id rather take you out than the opposite, i usually have a dmr or m14 with me to knock people out, ill bandage and bloodbag them before the timers out n either talk to them or run! mabey take a few ammo clips from there bags too if im running low it took me quite alot to get hero since i got it legit while lonewolf and i rarely kill survivours, just knock em out n scarper.......mabey you just had a bad experience with a hero n your taking it all out on the ones that are the 'hero' you expect..

Your probably the guy that sprint around cherno n expects to lose 'em in the buildings... i spent the whole day stealthing round most of the north area with my m9 sd n bizon, if your smart you can survive....if you dont get into a zombies line of site and walk on roads you never get agro, if you do dispatch them quickly or expect the full town/airfield to come for you, and then its time to screw the stealth, empty a mag into the nearest zeds, make an escape route and RUUNNNN! Im loving it soo far but ammo and even all loot for that matter is low, still it makes a change from everyone camping on nwaf n spamming every bullet they have to get your smoke grenades XD

Im sure the 150+ every 20mins is only if your below 2500, hero's used to get that after 5000 (and it was quiet handy meaning people either got insta bandit from killing you with such high humanity or you had the chance to defend yourself if a surviour started getting trigger happy) but that was removed as it was a bug and to have almost 6k without hero...thats quite odd, i had something like 5700 by the time i got it though (and kept it) mabey try a different server? one of my main servers woundlt let me keep my hero if i got it on there, but worked after i got it n logged into it...

It seems nobody has actually adressed the problem properly XD what you need to do is get your hero skin + 2-3 more bloodbags! for some reason when you just get hero skin it wont save the humanity, getting a few extra bloodbags in means your garenteed to keep it! I had the same problem and it pissed me off something awfull XD getting 1 or 2 bloodbags on randomers is pure luck but getting 4 or 5 ... in the end i had to play 4 hours straight while me n a friend roamed the area and me constantly trying to bloodbag him XD Good luck getting it, if you already havnt ;) Edit: when you DO get it, logging in and respawning there is a second or two wait before it loads your hero skin so dont panic :P Im pretty sure they did that to stop the Duplication glitch!

It suprises me people stay alive long enough....after a few days, if i havnt died of my own stupidity iv been killed by hackers...

i wasnt gearing on low pop, i only hopped to it to find out where i was, the night before i had aborted to go to bed without checking where i was and didnt want to log back in in the middle of NWAF on a high pop server..

Thanks man :P last week a kamenka spawn payed off massivly when i found an abandoned russian chopper sitting in the middle of a field with 2 dead bandits round it, fully repaired fully fueled and both bandits where geared to the teeth, lost the chopper on server restart but kept me geared for a week...untill now since my tents are gone XD My luck this week... is horrific compared XD

It’s just one of those days when EVERYTHING has to go wrong... After a quick NWAF trip last night with a friend I had to abort quickly so I hardly knew where I was, today I decided hitting a low population server to find out where exactly I was would be better than a sprinting across field on high population.. Logged in, inside a forest, inside a tree and all I hear is ‘Dude you frie-‘ BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG…. Dead (didn’t even get to move) I’m a hero so he probably only killed me for my DMR…or shits n giggles BUT OKAY fair enough maybe logging in near NWAF is always going to pose a threat… So I decided to hop onto another med population server to gather some things from my tent near elektro! But of course…the server isn’t letting anyone join it and is freezing at ‘waiting to create character’ so I do a quick Google search to see if the faults on my end, found several places telling me to re install battle eye manually but still no luck…so decided to join ANOTHER server to get my OTHER tent but that’s stuck at ‘waiting for host’ but people are still playing on the server.. I update both dayZ and arma and try again but still nothing! Now I’ve noticed that my server list has went from mabey..4000 severs too about 40 or 60? And most of them are empty not including 2 full ones (which are the only server with 10 or more people) It’s not the fact I can’t re gear fast enough, I actually quiet enjoy hunting around stealthily finding some loots but it’s the fact that all my gear (quite a lot of stuff ) I now cant get too >.< So now I’m gunna’ light up a fire, crack a can of beans open n sit aimlessly for some hope that something changes soon…

soo... after hours of running, being shot at, stabbed in the back and all that jazz I finally got the hero skin! Even before I had it I loved it, despite it not being the best camo..at all.. but my joy was short lived, after healing up a group of bambis in elektro to get my skin for the first time I headed up north into the tree's and aborted to get a drink, came back n the skin was gone. I was left with the normal survivor skin instead, Okay no worries maybe just some server lag or something I’ll just have to find more people to medic, so after a quick run up north to gear I got a message saying someone needed help badly n couldn’t see anything, so I ran across map to him and again got my hero skin BUT again it was short lived after checking a few hunting stands I aborted again to shower, came back and was back to a normal survivor! So again I set off to find another in need, but this time I changed server thinking it might have been that, and this time I was running loot runs with a friend, and again I got my hero skin few hours pass and a bus ride later I get kicked from server when a huge piece of scrap metal spawns on the road, with me under it....and AGAIN i lost the damn skin! So iv managed to get hero skin 3 times in 2 days and managed to lose it 3 times >.< I’m wondering if i need too do something to keep it permanently or if this is just a bug? I haven’t killed anyone at all so I don’t know what’s happening.. tl;dr I broke my hero.
