with that budget you could easily build a top gaming pc! i had a similar budget and built a pc centered around an i7 processor ... it eats games for breakfast! :-)

The new Chernarus + map looks fantastic and I am looking forward to all the 'old' Russian/Czech weapons ... Give me a Mosin Nagant and I am good to go!

or how about the dart gun from fallout 3? all you need is a paint gun, surgical tubing, toy car and some darts... oh and the schematics! but it would be hard to find a radscorpion poison gland in chernarus i think. lol

Downloaded v0.21 but cannot join any of the servers as adding DayZ_Sahrani in the override option of dayz commander does not seem to work anymore.

there is actually a server called ’noobs playground’ ... more vehicles than players! suitable for all your noobish needs! but on a more serious note... all i did was jump on low populated servers and learnt the game at my own pace.

finally got to play dayz sahrani and it brought back a lot of gaming memories! spawned south of cayo and proceeded north towards the southern capital paraiso via gulan and somato. can’t believe i still know my way around without a map! the only problem i have encountered so far was the number of heli crash sites i came across between somato and paraiso airfield, think i counted at least 10! but apart from that i give version 0.1 a big can of beans! the natural choke point at the port of corazol should make for some great gameplay as players try and make their way into northern sahrani! really enjoyed my first three hour session back on sahrani! :-)

Downloaded the Sahrani map v0.1 but cannot get onto any of the available Sahrani servers... Unzipped it into the appropriate folder but get the same error everytime i try and join a server

iron sights on the crossbow and a quiver of say 5 bolts? ... then i would use it more often! this weapon has a lot of potential

i always wanted to see the arma 1 map ’sahrani’ get the dayz makeover! walking from the southern shore all the way up to the northern tip of the map felt like it took a day! that is one huge map! maybe too big?

i would never pay money for any game item via ingame trading, cos it would just be my luck to get sniped moments later! surely the whole fun and appeal of the game is to find these treasured and most sought after items? but i guess its "each to their own"

can’t go wrong with the intel i7 3770k ... i included that beast in my new recent build!

yeah i have heard that ’horse’ snort sound many times ... it all adds to the ambience just like the snap of a twig which gets me every time! lol

One of The admins on uk471 Private Hive 31.132.1.240:2502 is just one of those who abuses his role as admin.... keeping track of vehicle and player location! Regardless of where you hide your vehicle... literally a minute if not seconds later he gets one of his clan buddies to come along and collect it! ....Quite simply another form of Hacking but legal!

i never knew admins could do that? ... that would explain a lot of mysterious things which has happened to me on servers where clan players hold the admin rights! not saying all admins abuse this power ... but some?

surely louis armstrong’s "what a wonderful world" would suit dayz ... just as the inkspots "set the world on fire" did for the fallout 3 intro

i have always turned the cross hairs off in games that have iron sights... even the fallout 3 community made an iron sight mod to increase immersion as many did not like shooting from the hip with the aid of a cross hair
