with that budget you could easily build a top gaming pc! i had a similar budget and built a pc centered around an i7 processor ... it eats games for breakfast! :-)

The new Chernarus + map looks fantastic and I am looking forward to all the 'old' Russian/Czech weapons ... Give me a Mosin Nagant and I am good to go!

going prone while under fire... should have sprinted and zig zagged towards the relative safety of the nearby forest! :(

and in true dayz tradition .... the games are delayed! lol :-)

i frequent their number 2 server which i find a pleasure to play on! :-)

chernarus is still my favourite, but i do hope sahrani sees the light of day on dayz commander :-)

or how about the dart gun from fallout 3? all you need is a paint gun, surgical tubing, toy car and some darts... oh and the schematics! but it would be hard to find a radscorpion poison gland in chernarus i think. lol

Downloaded v0.21 but cannot join any of the servers as adding DayZ_Sahrani in the override option of dayz commander does not seem to work anymore.

there is actually a server called ’noobs playground’ ... more vehicles than players! suitable for all your noobish needs! but on a more serious note... all i did was jump on low populated servers and learnt the game at my own pace.

finally got to play dayz sahrani and it brought back a lot of gaming memories! spawned south of cayo and proceeded north towards the southern capital paraiso via gulan and somato. can’t believe i still know my way around without a map! the only problem i have encountered so far was the number of heli crash sites i came across between somato and paraiso airfield, think i counted at least 10! but apart from that i give version 0.1 a big can of beans! the natural choke point at the port of corazol should make for some great gameplay as players try and make their way into northern sahrani! really enjoyed my first three hour session back on sahrani! :-)

Downloaded the Sahrani map v0.1 but cannot get onto any of the available Sahrani servers... Unzipped it into the appropriate folder but get the same error everytime i try and join a server
