Easiest place to find one? Other players, otherwise - have fun with deer stands or suicide runs in Stary Sobor.

Yeah, but you can't get one shot by zombies. There's not even any bug reports about this happening to anyone else. He got shot by a sniper, it's nothing new nor special. First rule when going to the airfield - don't ever go in the hangars or on the runway. Any items found in the hangars can be found just as easily in places like deer stands. The only loot unique to the airfield is the barracks, and it's the only place worth looting.

It doesn't matter what you say or how you say it - no one will ever say they aren't friendly. They are not obligated to believe you are friendly, nor are they obligated to be friendly to you. PK'ing happened when we had side chat, and still happens - It's not the solution, and I don't think there is one, or that there needs to be one. I think the problem is with people like you, who take death too seriously. Arma has a lovely campaign if you can't take multiplayer.

Damn, you're a slavedriver. The game is in a barely working state and you're complaining that there isn't enough to keep you busy? The fact that the mod is free isn't enough for you? Talk about first world problems.

He wasn't oneshot by a zombie - he was sniped. Going into those hangars is suicidal. He even had shock from being shot when he died. It was just a coincidence that the zombie hit him.

Don't bother with the launcher - it does the same thing to me as well, among other things. Just download everything manually, it's actually much easier. -

No problem here, spawned in Kamenka and went directly north to Zelenogorsk. Got supplies, and headed into the wilderness. Still haven't headed south, still in no danger of running out of supplies. You have to know where to look, it doesn't really have to do with whether you're on the coast or inland. If you feel you're forced to go into a major city - you're doing something wrong. -
Winchester or Lee Einfield? What is their damage on humans?

The Enfield is the obvious choice as of 1.7.1.5, not just for players. Because you can now hide from zombies - firing the Enfield in a city is no longer a death sentence. It has twice the range of the Winchester, it's much more common by comparison with the introduction of the double barreled shotgun, and the fact that the Enfield will almost always one shot a survivor means that it is the best entry level rifle you can get (unless you prefer the CZ550, though that's much more niche and rare). It certainly has a slow rate of fire, but that's the only major con as of this patch. -

If you get attached to your equipment, you're doing it wrong. Additionally - you are an alpha tester for a free mod, know your place. -
No food is spawning, and civilian buildings seem to only be spawning skins, watches, and tin cans as far as I can tell.

Same problem, happens on the latest beta patch, 701, and 666. Don't know about others. EDIT:Choosing female also seems to trigger a kick from script #16, can't be sure though - but it's happening repeatedly and at odd intervals. EDIT 2: Script #16 only happens on non 825 servers.

Still bugged - can pick gender, but it has no effect. Always spawn as male regardless of choosing male or female.

Pretty much - a flashlight will be a required item for playing at night now. It's basically unplayable if the moon isn't out and you don't have a light source.

Wow...beware of moving items to your backpack when its full. It deletes them....

This is well known, should search the forums to learn all the games little quirks before playing, saves you a lot of heartache (Weapons getting deleted, putting on skins without beta patch, ect). -
Never go in Cherno or Elektro, stay away from the coast in general as well. If you have to meet up - don't do it on the coast.

DayZ is 99% running/navigating and 1% everything else. Maps are easily found online, so the compass will save you time and will get you where you need to be. Nothing else is as critical, once you have the compass DayZ is a completely different game.

-Eat regular food, (Beans, pasta, ect) -Go hunting, gut the animal with a hunting knife, get firewood with a hatchet, and light it with a box of matches, then cook the meat. Cooked meat gives 800 blood, and cows have as much as 8 steaks on them (6400 blood from one animal). -Get a blood transfusion. Find a blood pack in a hospital, and get someone to give you the blood. You can't give yourself a transfusion.
