If you are having problems in 1.7.1 like flashlight not working, spawning in debug areas, no zombies/loot spawning, and being invisible. Then you have to go here and download the update in the green box. http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and if you are using steam, follow this guide! http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=10370 I hope I helped some people.

Well there is a HUGE problem in the community that apparently most people do not know how to do the beta patch even when Rocket posted some info about it. It seems like the majority do not read or are little children that are clueless. Other than that, the update works great. Good job guys. :D

Rocket, I was really happy that these hackers got banned, but if this is what their actually doing, FIX THE INNOCENT PLAYERS! Everyone who has gotten global ban deserved it. If you are someone who didn't get global ban but feel sympathy for those so called "innocent" players I suggest you never browse ebay or craigslist, because if these sad whiny fucks can fool you this easily you're sure to get scammed. THERE ARE NO INNOCENT PLAYERS. Just a bunch of crying cheaters who feel they've been treated unfairly because they paid for a product to ruin it for everyone else. I'm happy they're complaining and I'm happy the DayZ staff is making them feel like shit. You make yourself look so arrogant that its funny.

The problem is, the big hackers aren't banned because its so easy to bypass BE bans(apparently to them). So all this did was ban everyone that was using public scripts or innocent people that were victims of the big hackers. The big hackers spoof their GUID, so they seem like another player. So instead of themselves getting banned, another person does instead.

Well, I would like to address this horrible issue. If you look at the Cheater report forum, you will see that many threads have been posted about nuking in the past 24 hours. I am bringing this issue publicly so everyone can possibly stay offline to avoid losing items and to reach this issue to Rocket and his team (if he hasn't been noted of it.) My clan server was just wiped and I was looking into how many others have this problem. Please be careful on what servers you go on. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

Guys, I had this issue too but I had ArmA 2 free. What you need to do is delete the UI files from ArmA 2 free, as they are broken and conflict with ArmA 2 OA.

Its not against the law to dox someone as long as they put their information out on the internet already. The kid owns a facebook, so he is already allowing it.

I was wondering if it is required for Operation Arrowhead? And if it is, then may I ask why? I only have 20 bucks leftover and I REALLY want to play this game right now. But if I can't play it without it, then might as well wait until I rack the money to get the bundle pack to save 10 bucks. Thanks to anyone that answers.

So apparently their is a method that uses ARMA2:FREE + ARMA2:OA to possibly play DayZ. Has anyone done this, please confirm before I attempt this. :(
