    Change the thermal version to ACOG one. Oh and while we are at it, remove as50 and m107 aswell. Maybe add L115/M40A3?

    Eliminate M107 and AS50

    If it only were so. I've seen more players with m107/AS50 than with Enfield/Winchester/cz550 in the past couple of weeks. It's all because there's too many crashed choppers (5 choppers every time) and they are so easy to find, should be easily fixed if the number of choppers would go to random 0-3 on server restart.

  6. Could we get weapon damage charts and stats how much blood/hp does the zombies have? Why i ask this? I've shot many times other players with AKM etc. full auto assault rifle from point blank range, sometimes it takes 2 shots, sometimes 5 and sometimes up all to way 30 and has no effect (this must be a lagspike). Most of the time i can one shot kill people with CZ 550, Lee Enfield and Winchester, so is it just something that's wrong with full auto fire & lag?

    Slugs = Weak?

    1 shot killed 4 players from 40-50 meters with an m1014. The effectivity of an slug drops drastically when the target is more than a ~75 meters away.

I too think the most simple fix for alt-f4 is to change the 5 minute "punishent" (that can be cured with the epi-pen, so it's not really an punishent for a group of alt-f4 bandits) to an auto suicide, the corpse should stay at the server of course. Maybe implement this for now, and then add the ~30 second timer later, if it's even possible?

For couple of weeks now, i've seen some servers revert the time back to dawn/midday when it's getting dark, so they do not loose all the players to the other servers that are in different timezone. Some even advertise this in their server name with tags like: "nt:off". Question is, how in hell are not these servers blacklisted?

    No night time.

    Could be' date=' i've just seen this happen on servers so i thought it's a way to tell which servers do this. Yeah i know the time desync issue, it has haunted the ofp/arma series since original flashpoint, and no it's not what i'm talking about. It's about server admins that actually change the time, say from 01:00 to 13:00, just to keep player count high, as you can see almost all of the night time servers are empty. Was watching a stream last night and i think Vipeax was playing in it also, they actually saw one of these awesome admins ask the players should he make the server day time again, he did not change it tho, strange.

    Well that would be really nice and all, and would propably take an miracle to make nights dark, but that you could see more than 3 meters away and still make it so that you can't rape your gamma & brightness up and then get almost the same visibility that you have at the day time, no?

    So we can officially say goodbye to night time in dayz? In the launch weeks all(?) of the servers had have their time cycle 1:1 with their servers local timezone, has this changed, and when?
  13. Agreed. Would like to see what would happen if nvgs would be removed for a month or so.
  14. Goes abit off-topic, but i agree. Sad fact is that in the last week, i've seen more players with .50 cals on them than ones with cz550s/lee enfields/winchesters.
  15. I do not think the player count would rise on the night time servers if Rocket would rise the nvg drop locations or drop chances. He made the nights brighter on the second week from the release(?), did not increase the player count, the arma 2 patch came that made nights pitch black (and gamma whoring "impossible"), did not chance the player count and now the nights are greyish, again=people do not like to play if it's "dark". What i would personally like to see is; remove the nvg altogether, most of them are already duped versions and thus only gives advantage to ones who go so low as duping items/cheating. This would hopefully lead to people actually using flares, chemlights & flashlights sometimes.

    Great idea. See a dude hiding in firestation? Throw some teargas at him and see him rush out to be shot.. or most likely alt-f4. If only would be possible to fix the horrible & inaccurate throwing that has haunted the series since ofp.
  17. Is it possible to prevent going outside the map borders? Like, you start to loosing blood when you go past the border, or get a time before you die (like in battlefield series)... etc. Tired of seeing all the vehicles being saved ~10km beyond the map border.

You WILL get the same results. I've been playing arma 2 for years and never i've encountered this issue. Only difference is that the sd-ammo moves about 1/2 speed of an supersonic one and starts to drop faster because of this. What i suggest for you is to stop throwing assumptions out of your ass and try it out for yourself.

  20. Date/Time: 10.6.1012 What happened: Shot an zombie using m4 cco using sd ammo to ~50 meters away, the projectile hits around 1 meter above the targeted area. Happenes all the time, if the target is 40-70 meters away, the projectile hits about 0,5-1 meter above the target. This does not occur with normal stanag ammo. Sd ammo on m4 cco works perfectly in vanilla ArmA 2 and ArmA 2:OA. Where you were: Berezino What you were doing: Killing zombies. *Current installed version: AO: 93586 beta, 1.7.0 dayz *Server(s) you were on: FI-2 server, but it happens in all the servers. *Your system specs: Amd 1055T, 460 gtx, 8gb ddr 3, win 7 x64. *Timeline of events before/after error: As said before, happens all the time.
