Could we get a server list with specifications so it's easier to find servers that match your own needs. What i mean is: 3rd person, mouse wheel "scanning", player name.. etc. allowed? It seems like the difficulty level does not tell you anything at all.

Thanks for the answer. But the thing i was looking for most was that if the server admins read these forums, they should post their server settings over here. It makes it less irritating for players who see some of the settings as a must have, when searching for an server. I for one can't stand 3rd person or visual aids so i'm "forced" to play in FI1, EU8 and EU1 servers.

Too many times have i seen players camping behind cover using 3rd person to their advantage, then quickly leaning and shooting before their target has any way to fire back or even know what hit em. Most of the time you can use 3rd person to your advantage when you're laying on a hill, in a bush and you can see your target perfectly, knowing that you're target has no chance in hell to see you. It just feels like it does not fit in ArmA nor in this mod, especially when there's pvp going around. The mouse scroll scanning is just ridiculous, it gives you and free wallhack, and you can use it to see so far a way that you normally would not identify is it a rock, bush or a person. I usually myself try to play on a server that does not these "aids" on, only one i've found so far is FI1 and one of the EU servers that i can't remember right now. -

Game purchase only & Kickstarter all the way. As you can see from Kickstarter, most of the projects get funded and they do not even have anything "real" to show, most just have some random images of models, short description of the story, concept-art.. etc. You on the other hand, have a proven mod that works, players love and generated money for Bohemian interactive (seriously, when was arma 2 last time on the top sellers list @steam?). Good luck getting this project going!

Rocket, have you ever thought of starting a Kickstarter project for DayZ? I could see this project getting funded easily.

Most of the so called "pro" bandits already move as a group, so i can't really see this improving anything, just making it harder for starters and lone-wolves.

100% agree with you. Would love to see it implemented, if it's possible. 10 seconds should be enough, not too long, not too fast.

I think this is one of those "gameplay vs realism" arguments. In real life, you can give your self a blood transfusion if you know how to do it, but i think in DayZ it encourages teamwork and i'm fine with that. As Orbital said, hunting is the key if you're going solo.

I think this is one of those features that is in the "must have" list. I've seen this feature in was it ACE2 or Project Reality? Can't remember, but still it's possible to do in Arma 2.

I like the idea that you must do something to gain blood, like go to the hospital, get someone/gain trust of an stranger to give you that blood transfer. I could see really slow gain work,say 50 per 30 minutes or so.

Cannibalism usually is seen in most of the great zombie finctions already, and i wouldn't be surprised to see it here also. Would add some choise how you want to survive, moral choises etc.. I would just like to see some impact of this on player character, if it's implemented. -
No, just no. We already have eating and drinking, we do not need everything we, the players need to do in real-life to be added to this game. Line has to be drawn somewhere and i think it's fine as it is.

Remove or significantly decrease humanity score rising over time

I for one am one of those bandits who like the skin, it gives slight advantage in the bush thanks to the camo, but do not like the idea of having to kill every now and then just to keep the humanity low enough. Kill for the loot that you need, not just for laughs. Would be nice, if it did not decrease over time. But it seems the whole bandit skin is going to be taken off (assuming by this http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=720 thread) because it's too much work to get it working properly. But still, if Rocket get's it to work, remove the decrease and make some other way to gain you humanity back faster, for those who seek redemption. -
Has been talked over on many threads before this, most have been redirected to this one: http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=424 But on the subject.. I do agree we should have a way to take care lonely zombies that are blocking our way, without having to make sound (shooting him) even when we do not have a crossbow. I could see this http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8418 plugin to be one of the easiest ways to do it. Maybe implement same to the hunting knife too, just make it one hit.

I actually would like to see it removed. It just makes no sense that you have to look like a killer if you are one. What i would like to see aswell on it's place is a way to chance how you look (your model basically), maybe find army uniforms at airfields/military camps? If it is possible, that is. Edit: Can't vote.

Standardize Servers + Lock First-Person View

I like the idea of standardizing servers. I personally like 1st person more, but do not mind if you can go 3rd person aswell, i sometimes use it when i scout my surroundings. What i would like to see removed from all the servers is the "scanning" finger/hand you get, when you scroll you mouse wheel, way too easy to spot players with it and ruins, for me atleast most of the servers. -
I've seen so many times players asking, how to holster their weapons in Cherno/Elektro so they won't be seen as an imminent threat to the party holding that city as a base. Weapon butt attack? I love it! Too many times i've been in a situation too close to a zombie next to a house i wanted to check, but couldn't get thru because i did not have an way to take him out without making a sound. What would make it even better? Instant but silent takedown with a combat knife. Maybe abit off-topic, but the weather plugin thingy brought in to my mind; Is it possible to lock players client side brightness/contrast settings to the default? I've seen many players teach others to set them to max, so they can see better in the dark.. Electrical Grid idea sounds great too, can't see anything wrong with it really. Helps alot of groups holding towns guard their territories better, and makes it harder to sneak in as a bandit. I like it, alot. Great ideas overall.
