according to @Hicks_206 twitter posted today, the development team is Mid way in the "sprint". Now if we look at Rockets last post on twitter (September 28th), we should expect the release of SA in the next 25 days.

3rd person for me please. Don't feel like playing in first person while in first person in game. Being two times first person is just redundant. 1st person doesn't add to immersion because 1st person loses a lot of peripheral vison and is quite good at giving motion sickness. just go play 1st person servers. If there is any. -
with the standalone and the zombie rework... will sneaking in cities\towns and around zombies be viable without getting the attention of zombies 100 yards away? (or any respectable distance)

I am asking if sneaking in towns and around Zombies will still be viable in the SA?! I mean currently if you try to sneak around zombies you can aggro zombies 100 meters away and some zombies in close proximity will do nothing at all. in other "zombie survival games" you can get pretty close without being detected. my main concern is this. getting tired of the congo line only to get cornered in a building with no back door and alerting all the players in the vicinity.

well concerning rockets post in reddit about the worth of devblogs I think he should focus on his weekends. what he does is up to him. But would you be ok with monthly dev blogs again?

Don't know why you are speaking in a passed tense, but with all the info on the review next week, the statement about who's to say its not on track. I think its quite feasible that it would release in august before Gamescom arrives. -

so rocket may be butt hurt if the SA alpha is not released before gamescom (Aug. 21-25, 2013). -
will the SA have new sounds such as running? Overwatch has some nice running sounds. not the annoying high tone running sounds. It has a softer sound to the ears.

asking the question: should bicycles be a common find in the Stand alone and mod? I feel they should be common to find because running around on foot will take its toll on players.

what is action key 20 to bring up the epeen monitor? tried scroll lock and wasn't bound to it, tried looking for in in the control options but didn't come across it. help please!

is there a way to add dayz mod to Steam while still using dayz commander? Looking to get use of Steam overlay. Did a search but didn't find anything relevant to the current release of the mod on Steam.
