You have a quad core (even if it is the wrong brand), 16gig of ram, 4gig of GPU and oyu run it at 800x600?! wtf? Surely you've simply forgotten to activate the GPU and are using on-chip? Perhaps you have a dicky driver? Unless that GPU is shared memory (ie: an on-chip GPU that shares 4gig of your total available 16gig?)

There is no need to lock a server after a restart for "testing" or ensuring that the server is behaving properly. I read these sort of responses all day, I run/admin/pay for a server too. The only, and I mean only time we have locked a server was after I booted a hacker sot hat he couldn't get back in whilst I banned him through Rcon. Sometimes servers need to be restarted twice in quick succession (because on the first restart tents and vehicles didn't spawn in), other than that I fail to see why a standard 25 or 50 slot server need to "test" itself after a restart when the other 205 servers running the same software don't. My thoughts: Your admin clearly cracked the shits. He used his power (knowing that the truck would return to it's last saved position) to restart the server, then lock it so no-one else could get in, and then (after moving himself into a better position) let the OP and his mate spawn in to get shot.

How come he had to of glitched in / or logged in up there? Why couldn't he get up there the same way you did? Also: all 1.7 servers currently suffer from the fast dissolving body syndrome - hence why rocket is about to release 1.7.1 to fix it! Also, satchel charges are in the game (at least they are in the SP component).

There's blood everywhere. Perhaps you have you video settings on low or something? when I shoot a zed/bandit in the face blood spews out everywhere. Not sure why you aren't seeing similar.

This just happened to me too. My server updated Battleye - and then proceeded to kick EVERYONE.

This is not some twitch shooter. A slightly elevated ping isn't a huge concern. I'm based in Australia, and I play on servers in Dallas - even though I end up with 5x the ping, the game plays 10x better.

He has a point though. Seems the only way they can advance in the game is by server hopping. In my opinion when you spawn as a character - that character should be tied to the current server - no ability to server hop "farming" all the 1337 gear. That and putting an end to the alt+F4 fags that couldn't hit the side of a barn, and the game would be perfect. None of it effects my game all that much, as I keep odd hours and tend to avoid other players.
