So yea. I'm beautiful, but I'm an idiot. In a serious sense, I can't find the search button, yet somehow everyone seems to make it seem like its clearly in view... and I just can't see it. Even while writing this I'm looking around and can't see the bloody thing. So yea, polite answers may be stretching it, but this is the first time I've ever had this problem on any forum site. Edit : .... Found it. Please close my shame...

You gotta remember the xbox and PS3 communities though. As far as my knowledge persists, the console community seems to generally prefer instant satisfaction, hence, all the 12 year olds 1 v 1ing each other in COD. Dayz is an immersive game, and requires a lot of time and effort to get through, and some people just want to drop*(fixed) on the couch and play. A console port would be great, but I'm not sure if the communities of the consoles are ready.

Oh, but if you wanna test it concurrently without springing the money, see if the game is your type, I would recommend Dynamic Zombie Survival. It's basically dayz, but less immersible Many of the servers are probably going down though, with dayz essentially taking over lol. -

Yea man, buy it, and maybe if you've got some little extra, I would buy the Private Military DLC, it really makes those skins *sparkle*. Seriously though, you can play the game without the DLC, it'll just make the textures feel a bit off compared to some youtube videos you may have seen. -
The APSI helmet protects you from Namalsks rather frequent EVR storms. (They're much more frequent then the ones in Stalker.) The Heart prevents other bloodsuckers from attacking you. It really helps, as generally if there's one bloodsucker a ton more are gonna come out of the woodwork. It'll sometimes drop ammo and medi-supplies too, which is used the same as usual.

Most Private Hive servers will tell you that they're private, and looting every body you see isn't very wise as it leaves you open.

I literally made this account just to respond to Macabre's post. "... the Arma II engine is awesome..." One time while me and a convoy were driving over a bridge, the sheer physics of this game's logic sent my UAZ hurtling straight into my groups heli. We all died. On topic, I wouldn't totally leave the game. You had some bad starter experience, but once you find a decent group, the game becomes amazing. Although it takes like, minor dedication I suppose, compared to other games. So I guess you gotta work for it. :T
