There are PVE servers, mate. Many of them as far as I remember. I remember a coop server of dayz+ where I basically had to drive and find survivors to bring back to camp. Eventually, I got too good and it lagged so hard with the 62/64 players in one camp. So yes, there are coop servers, you just gotta look for em. I still like the potential of extra clothing for specific achievements. I should get a custom one for being so darn beautiful. Like that one he linked. That should be exclusively mine...

New one just bloody happened. Driving by Vybor, no gear as I recently died, and out of nowhere from under the bridge a guy with an axe shoots my wheels with a makorov. I start running, and he goes "COME BACK HERE AND FEED MY CHILDREN!" Hide out in a barn, and he just keeps going "Helloooo~....? HELLOOOOO~~~!??" Then suddenly goes "THERE YOU ARE" and the front door closes, side door opens, and he guts me. It was scary.... I lost a bike. :c

Still, an achievement based set of clothing would be nice. The 3 skins are getting kind of dull, and are losing their beautiful *sparkle*. We could really use more personalized customization.

Got it. Turns out aviras "Exception" list doesn't really change anything or make it a bloody exception, as it kept freaking blocking it the moment I restarted Dayz. So to anyone with avira problems on dayz : I basically turned off my avira for the moments when I play dayz, but I keep windows security on. I mean, leave SOME kinda wall up, but apparently avira be hating on my beauty. So yea, Avira was just being an ass twice in two days.

I always run as admin by deafult. It didn't work, manual install into appdata and game install location, now I am getting the Initialization Failed again. Sadness. :c

Er... so it broke again. For some reason after closing dayz and opening it again, it un-updated it self from 1.187 to 1.182. Requesting more help...

Some of these people are so aggro... "OHMYGAWD STAHP COMPLAINING NOOB ASS CRYBABY" Really, he's just voicing an opinion, and yes, I feel his pain. I'm not saying all of the games like that, but a lot of servers have some seriously immature leaders behind them. Of course, I still don't think he should just give up entirely on the game, it takes effort to get through this game, then it becomes very enjoyable. Once you get through all the idiots in game and get good gear, everything just goes beautifully. It really is a fun game, and you should stick with it.

Class wise, you're probably gonna need to split off into groups too for mobility, I usually have a group like this, and 1 extra who we designate a "Mechanic". Basically we give him the 2nd map, 2nd toolbox, and we send him off to find cars whlie our Engineer gets general prep gear ready for when the Mechanic gives us a close location of a nearby car.

I tend to hop around several different private servers, healing up noobs and ish. Of course, your clan seems very prestigious, and it seems everyone trusts you on sight. That would really help people like me lol, so I guess I'm kind of potential roster, as possibly the most beautiful medic you may every potentially recruit. Cheers, keep up the good work mate.

Me and a convoy were driving down the bridge between elektro and chern. Dayz physics activated, and my UAZ hurtled RIGHT into our heli, 100m off the ground, which proceeded to crash right into the center of our group. Me and my mate saw it all from our air-borne bodies before we passed away. All 15 of us died in possible the biggest fire ever, losing 2 URALs, a UAZ, 1 pick up, and a U1-H1 It did make a good camp zone, and eventually the whole server was just watching the fire, sitting down by 2 camp fires. Good times.

That would be the main function of the ghillie, mind you. I suppose putting it over yourself for a kind of sniper hideout isn't bad, though.

The game is set in the apocalypse, so I'm not sure many hospitals would have perfectly-stored hospital equipment ready for use. Cooking meat really is a good solo alternative once you get a bike. You just go around, shoot some cows, and you can heal from 3000 back to full in a deliciously beautiful way.

If I had the ability to give myself a blood transfusion, other heroes would basically be out of a job. And I assume he's talking about the Bulletproof vest DMG resistance, and the hero's speed increase. The speed increase is slight, you will see it while sprinting with survivor-friends, and the bullet proof vest prevents serious damage, but you'll be knocked into shock. I mean, you just got shot at, of course you'd be shocked.

A currency system would ruin my idea of dayz. This is the apocolypse, if you have some shit I want, I'll either approach and ask nicely, shoot you in the butt, or hold you hostage. +, its not like one finds gold just randomly on the floor or on dead people. How many people just carry bunches of gold on their person? I prefer the current trading we have now, where theres always that risk of betrayal/ambush.

Its for the combat timer. If its flashing you can't log off I believe. Its triggered if you are attacked, shooting, etc. Edit : It also lasts for about 30 seconds.

Of course, I do hope you learned from your mistakes and don't hack the standalone too... jus' saiyan. :/

As weird as it sounds, I like to give myself a challenge. One time I saw a bandit survivor coming, and I wanted to see how I'd fare with him, but he had no gear, so I dropped my M249 in the middle of the airfield, and drew my M9. I then went around looting for general gear, waiting to see whether I'd see him again. Low and behold we found eachother, and a firefight ensued. Apparently his aim was garbage, because he missed me and actually had to reload the machine gun, and the firefight took up the whole span of NW to the extent the server admins told newcomers "GTFO ITS LIKE A WARZONE IM HEARING OBER DERE" Getting that final kill made me feel like a ninja. Until a DMR shot my legs and broke em, forcing me to hide like a coward. TL;DR, Makes me feel awesome if fighting a non-fresh spawn.
