Having the same issue, tried pretty much everything from here and still the game doesnt launch... i have 150hrs in it and just decided to comeback to it after a break but it looks like i will have to drop it all together.

I would love to see some CQC. Hopefully one day it might come to DayZ *ahm ahm* mgs fan here ;)

Agree on that WWZ the movie was crap. The infected in the movie with Will Smith were vampires (this wasn't explained very clearly).

For the same reason we could argue against what you just said. How can you not care about zombie analogy when the game is clearly refereed to as zombie survival. I can understand the ideology of some virus changing people into these aggressive mutants, so called "infected". But if they are not zombies let's not call them that. I see people talking about the "I am legend" & "24 weeks later" infected. But how many of you knew that I am legend was about vampires?

For all of you arguing that DayZ zombies are not zombies but infected living beings, that technically makes DayZ not a zombie survival game.

I voted for second option. That plus attracting zombies by things such as knocking on the walls etc could bring a great aspect to the game, you could use the stupid zombies to your advantage and even kill with them.

I voted for yes, I knew what I was buying and what stage the game was at. But I sill done it, I mean its not a big deal £30 - but my hype towards the game died, I don't really play it - heh I guess I'm just waiting for more content to be added in. Tbh I think I spend more time on these forums reading posts etc than I do playing the game (*o*)

I do believe that this current map is too small, I understand the time it takes to create such a map. But hopefully in future after the release we can expect some larger maps or modifications etc.

1) For no reason, most of the time i don't even check the dead body. 2) First of all, it's not my stupid actions that led myself to be spotted by someone, but yours (as in the victim of the KoS). If you are unable to play safe and think about something before doing it, then don't blame others when you get shot. If you know that the location is of high risk - then why enter it? And if you have to evaluate all of the possibilities, look at player list, scout the area, and always always remember that someone can log in behind you. So be paranoid. 3) Good on them, they will live to see another day. 4) No, I could type a couple lines about how people in real life would act in that sort of time and place. But is it really worth it? 5) Again nope. This is the cycle of life in dayZ, those who live by a gun die by a gun. Simple as, we will all die - but its the way you play will keep you alive longer than others.

Well it is possible from what i've experienced in dayZ. And then on the other hand you sometimes get a character that starts bleeding from each hit (i had that twice). So be happy that you have a strong survivor & for future set a password on your pc or something.

I prefer to stick to NEAF as its much smaller than NWAF and it's much easier to spot out people coming in and out the airfield. Loot wise you can get pretty much the same things as you get at NWAF. So it's worth it.

Srsly what the hell is this, i swear like two days ago i saw at least 2 or 3 topics about females in dayZ. Are you that desperate? Who cares what's the % of females in dayZ and what is their ratio to males bla bla bla. This isn't going to help you in anything, and if you though about this there isn't really a way of telling the gender of the player (dunno if they can use the steam and personal information - but that is if they enter them).

You are on the right track, just keep pressing ok now and you should be able to play singleplayer soon.
