I decided i would join a server that was absolutely swamped with people just to set up a useful camp and steal stuff from bandits but this changed quite rapidly. As i was new to the game and had no idea what i was doing, i did some research on the loot and loot areas on the map, where to find game and water refill points. My first action was to find a tent, wood and matches to fix up a nice looking camping ground. Instead i found a Lee En-field, Cyote Backpack, knife and water bottles. This is where i began my adventure. I walked for about an hour inland at which point I found a lake where i could refill the water bottles. The area was covered with trees and shrubs so I decided to set up a camp there. I could see goats and cows in a field close by along with a barn that had a hunting rifle with about 3 clips. I built a fire and a tent. i began hunting the animals to store food for later but was spotted by a silhoette in the distance.so i began shouting at the guy. 10 seconds later he went prone and a hail of gunshots spewed out across the field, i almost crapped myself because of the noise and bailed out of there into the barn so seek refuge. i saw him dunning across the field towards the barn and began shooting back at this guy missing the last of the shots with the rifle leaving me defenseless with only a hatchet. I began hiding in the barn behind some stuff on the floor taking out the hatchet playing the waiting game. i soon heard the grass crunching slowly with a quick reloading sound after it stopped. I watched as his gun poked through the doorway, i readied my left mouse button for a spam-a-thon when he began shooting again. At this point i went prone and pushed against the barn wall while he sprinted through the barn towards what he probably thought was me, dead on the ground. at this stage he began looting his fresh kill. I watched as he took all of the items from the player and as he stood up I shouted over the mic "I Hope your friendly, cause if your not, i would love you to leave this barn" at this point he walked into the bars and said "Im friendly". Still prone near the door i asked about the bandit skin on him he replied " The guy shot me first, ive just spawned and hes my first kill EVER". Before playing i did research on the humanity system and found that losing humanity is based upon the amount of explosives/projectiles that hit the player PLUS the humanity of the player and that a bandit skin will only be achieved by reaching 0 or below humanity level. i decided i would play along and told him to drop his weapon on the ground and the contents of the backpack. While he was dropping the loot i sprinted toward him with a hatchet out belting him in the face enough to knock him out. I bandaged his wounds leaving him with apparently 1240 blood along with shock and broken legs, at this point i said good shot a clip of his weapon into the air, left a marked on the map and used his barbed wire to block the doors. He was stuck... I felt kind of mean doing this so i deconstructed one of them and put down a few bear traps inside and reconstructed it. Now so far i have survived about 30+ days in the camp and am thriving on the resources that i can collect from it EDIT: I Just joined the server before i started this post and found myself with 2000 blood, broken legs, no stuff with a flattened tent. What a day...
