I can't exile him, I actually enjoy the interaction and the conflict, I was just seeing if anyone had any ideas for how we could best use both sides of our combined personalities. Good song choice though! :)

I found one on a body by cherno, took it out, threw it down and waited for someone to return! ...he never did, but I blew up a goat so it wasn't a total loss!

I had a guy trek all the way from Stary to Pulkovo at night in order to give me a morphine shot, he was desperate to get rid of a bandit skin he'd earned earlier after being ambushed, so when he arrived he gave me morphine and blood to boot! HAPPY DAYS! he then asked me what else he could give me to raise his humanity... '...are those NVG's?' I asked, so after he gave me those I thought WOW! THIS GUY WILL GIVE ME ANYTHING! ...as it happens, he wouldn't, so I told him I'd lead him back to Stary seeing as though I had the NVGs. I guided him into the middle of a field and took his head off with my CZ550! turns out he had in fact given me almost everything he had! I then left the server and found one in daylight!

Well I had quite an experience today, I spawned in near Cherno and grabbed the usual gear, headed out toward Elektro before my trip inland. Following the power cables from Pirigodki to the power station I came across a body of a survivor, he had a few odds and bits but in particular, in his backpack he had a ghillie suit and a truck load of bandages! I thought that this was a bit unusual but pressed on. When I got to the power station I found a nice M14 AIM and a few clips, what a start this was turning out to be! I then headed inland, and after finding a bicycle, I quickly made it to Stary. when raiding the tents, I noticed I was getting peppered by someone from the hill to the NW! Whilst I found this quite annoying, I wasn't worried, who ever it as appeared to be an awful shot! Eventually the rounds stopped falling and I made my way up the NW hill, all of a sudden I here footsteps behind me, so I panic and dropped to the ground. Looking around I couldn't see anyone, so I stood up and continued, a voice came over direct and asked 'how do you like my as50?'. Of course, I still couldn't see the git so I ignored him, this angered the fellow so he proceeded to break my legs with what I reckon was an M9SD. ...so, an invisible guy breaks my legs and leaves me fairly low on blood and bleeding, but then he makes a fatal mistake! While he was going through my backpack, he was prone right infront of me! I was able to go into his backpack and take out a few more clips for my DMR, some morphine (crucially!) and even some NVG's! RESULT! He told me he had 'dropped me a bandage' somewhere nearby, which I didn't even bother looking for, I started crawling for Stary until I felt safe to use the morphine and run off. Not a bad start to my day! ...about 15 minutes later I got shot up when investigating a Heli-Crash site! but no matter, I will always remember this as the day I got one over a hacker!

the other day I was riding my bike though Mogilevka when some poor guy ran across the road in front of me being chased by >20 zombies, so I thought it would be funny to ride past ringing my bell whilst telling him over direct chat how screwed he was! When I actually thought about how screwed he was, I thought maybe it would be better to save him, so I lured the zeds away on my bike allowing the guy to escape! he later asked if I had any antibiotics, to which I said yes, we met up just outside town and I gave him some antibiotics. '...what are you ashamed of, you're a hero!' I hear you cry, well, I realised I was trekking across to Novy Sobor to save some bambi with a broken leg, when I got there, he was whining so much about why I stopped to save this other guy (damn side chat!). so I fixed him up, but he then proceeded to ask me if I had any STANAG rounds he could have? (what cheek!) ...so I gave him four, right in the face! :) died later and he found me in Cherno, he was pissed to say the least, so yeah I regretted it later! (felt like the right thing to do at the time though!

...when you log into a server with you day 11 character only to find that there is a URAL heading directly for you across the fields, and behind said vehicle is a bunch of ne'er do wells with big ass cannons! before I had even walked 5 yards the .50 rounds were whizzing over head! wtf is going on?! I know I was at least semi-exposed, logging out in the middle of a field to the E of NW airfield, but what are the odds of spawning into a server in front of a group of bandits like that?! ...needless to say, all kit gone, starting again in elektro, so not not the worst way to begin again! what are your stories boys an girls? what experiences have you had in DAYZ that made you feel like Santa left used jonnies in your stocking at christmas?

I'd be interested in watching that, sounds a bit crazy!

I too have experienced gun shots on the 'setup completed' screen before, I spawned into the bushes on the hill to the N of Stary, there was some bandit shooting into town not 10 feet from where I had dropped in! ...it wasn't me who was unlucky that day, but it was a little worrying, that's for sure!

Hey Folks, I need one of two things, either some morphine, or a ride from a fresh spawn on the coast to Pulkovo in the NW, I have goods to offer in return: M16A2 and all the STANAG rds. you will ever need! M14 AIM and a number of mags. G17 and a number of mags GPS I got my leg broken when climbing over a small pile of rubble! mother f****r! any public server will do!

I've been rescued!

Hello, I am looking for a few new buddies to keep things interesting! I like to play DAYZ for fun, not taking things too seriously, but never the less enjoy doing well! If your of the sniping fresh spawns with as50's for fun persuasion then sorry, I am not interested. If you are more the kind of person who enjoys stockpiling and making daring raids under cover of darkness to recover parts for a 'party bus' then welcome aboard. ...plus it helps to have someone on hand for the odd blood transfusion or two! I like to use teamspeak, and details are available on request. I am UK based and will be online mostly between 0900 and 1700 as the ad suggests, I mostly play Chernarus, but I am open to suggestions. Hey fellas, if you both PM me your DAYZ hours, it doesn't have to be exact (obviously), then I can let you know if I am going to be around, however I will be taking off for a few weeks skiing. So DAYZ will be on ice for a short while (until the 4th of Feb) We can talk servers and teamspeak and everything when we are a bit closer to actually getting online together. Happy Hunting!

Every time I log in to a server,my gear disappears, I could understand it happening every now and again, but every time? am I doing something wrong? this last time, my AKSU and M16 both vanished, but it left me with all my other gear?! wtf?! and also, why cant I ever seem to collect steaks from unfortunate beasties?

Nope, I thought this maybe the case, but I have the box checked 'Hide unofficial' in DAYZ Commander, so the ones I play in are not private hives right? also, after a few disconnects, it appears my gear has reappeared, well, the AKSU at least! everything in the backpack is gone!
