  1. Apart from it most likely not possible to do right now it is going against the simple outset of this mod, 'SURVIVAL' You don't counter players killing you by creating areas to make it 'easy' for you, survival is not easy. If you want to lonewolf it then the risks massively increase if you are around hotspot areas, as it should. It is up to you to protect yourself, not the mod creators. Search out friendly survivors/groups and team up with them, with them create your safe-heaven. Sure the safe-haven may be that big rock out in the middle of no where but it gives you are point to group up. Plan to move on towns or airfields on force, a cheat a bit and use side chat to announce you are friendly but moving in on force. Get the stuff you need and get out and return to your protective safe-haven.
  2. I like that you guys deter bandits from your server. Sorry where did they say this? If so it would be going against the mod so I am sure they don't :)
  3. Calm down, too many things are in play here and with too many looking from the outside in. People get kicked to make spare for members- No problem with this at all, they will have some or all members who donate to their server and they 100% deserve a spot on the server ahead of a public player Bandits kicked? - Well perhaps the server was full and someone had to go, since you were in the minds of the clan members it would be an obvious one - as you are no more important than the dude hiding somewhere and not attacking people Clan members advertising their clan? Who cares, its the admins of the servers who deal with that and until someone puts their foot down its fair game. Locked server? Sure it was maybe not a performance issue I know guys at UO who I play with have locked the server a few times but that was too see if it helped to stabilize lag at the time (and that was 2/3 days ago they did that) In closing, MAN UP, GO TO ANOTHER OF THE MANY SERVERS. Thanks. :)

    Finding friends

I started to use a map from online but have stopped now, I am not trying to impose my view but I simply go without now, I have started to learn some of the Cyrillic letters to help me work out town signs. I know the Cyrillic names of a select few coastal towns now, enough to know one town will be east of Chern or west of Elecktro etc, so it makes it easier to move about. Inland is a bit different though, central part of the map is easy as its due north of chern is a small town then the Stary towns or whatever its called so its easy to get a good idea of where I am and how to get to other people. It is nice learning this as I go.
  6. Abusing video settings is a poor tactic tbh and takes away from the mod itself. Sorry if posted already, when being chased by our lovely zombies the use of move around buildings or objects gives you some breathing space (a few seconds) enough time to line up a shot or two. Also the use of enter-able buildings helps as well as the zombies move to a walk, I wish they didn't though as this is a rather easy tactic to use to survive a zombie hoard attack.
